This post was on the page 2 years ago and I find it quote poignant today.
We are still working on tillys tension areas and with the help of pain killers and other professionals we are making good progress.
It could be easy for us (me specifically as a canine bodywork professional) to wonder why we were unable to pin point where the pain was and feel like we have failed her. However tilly is a dog who covers things so well it would be really hard to find these things.
So we have worked with various other professionals to come at the issue from various angles in the hope of fixing it quicker.
The point I'm trying to get at is that some dogs cover their issues so we'll that it is almost impossible to find the exact cause. As long as your doing all you can to help and using all the help available then that is all you can do. This does not mean by any means you are failing your animal.
It's common for owners to beat themselves up and feel bad because they feel they have allowed their dog to suffer. Sometimes it just takes a little longer to sort and know that you will get there somehow.
If you would like your dog checked for tension or just for a lovely pampering massage session get I touch now. We all need some tlc and down time.
