Amazing dogs...Had the pleasure of meeting the male of these dogs and his owners on Tuesday in Corby. It was the most stunning beautiful dog but was warned not to approach too close! This breed is the world most expensive dog selling for nearly £1million!!

Shaun Kingsnorth, 42, and Katrina Springs, 40, live at home in Corby, Northamptonshire, with their two Chinese Tibetan Mastiffs, two-year-old male Bear, and one-year-old female Amira.

Please be vigilant. This is a horrid way for your pet to die and we have had first hand experience of it.

PLEASE READ!!!

Unfortunately, we have had multiple pets brought in to see us recently with symptoms of a potential toxic exposure. We believe the animals have eaten rat and/or slug poison.

These animals have all come from a similar area of Moulton Leys.

Could we please ask the public to be vigilant of any pest control they may be using in and around the garden and ensure that these are pet-friendly. We are hoping that all incidences have been accidental however we are keeping a record of these cases to inform the local authorities.

If your pet is suffering from incoordination, imbalance, tremors, seizures, bruising or bleeding please let your vet know ASAP. Unfortunately, toxin ingestion can be fatal.

Puppies are very inquisitive and eat things they shouldn't which ends up in upset tummies, sickness and sometimes expensive trips to the Vets. Whenever they are outside always watch where they are and what they are doing to prevent these things happening.

A rise in dog ownership during lockdowns combined with the plentiful growth of fungi due to wetter and warmer weather have combined to trigger a growth in cases.
