Lots of toys, beds, treats and some food for our animals was all dropped off in the beautiful sunshine yesterday.
We are always in great need of all sorts of supplies that keep our animals well fed and looked after so getting a visit like this just makes our day!

At the beginning of the week we visited Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary to donate some treats, toys and cat litter to the residents of the sanctuary 🐈 🐕

Firework season can be a stressful time for our furry friends, but with the right tips and tricks, you can ensure a peaceful night for your pup. Here's how to help your dog stay calm and relaxed when the fireworks start to light up the sky:
🎆Create a Safe Space : Set up a cozy den or a quiet room where your dog can retreat to when the fireworks begin. Make it comfortable with their favourite toys and bedding
🎆Keep Them Inside : On fireworks nights, it's best to keep your dog indoors to minimise exposure to the noise and lights. Take them for a bathroom break before the festivities begin.
🎆Close the Curtains : Reduce visual stimulation by closing curtains or blinds. Dimming the lights can help create a calm environment
🎆Background Noise : Play soothing music, white noise, or calming sounds to drown out the fireworks. There are even pet-specific playlists available
🎆Distraction with Toys : Offer interactive toys or Favour treats inside treat puzzles to keep your dog mentally engaged and distracted from the outside noise.

Today we had the pleasure of meeting Joy and her lovely owners Chris and Rachael
Joy decided to take off on an adventure of her own and was missing on the mountain for 6 days! The local community rallied around to help Chris & Rachael in the search for their beloved Joy and thankfully she was found at the foot of Binevenagh mountain!
We thought Joy deserved some tasty treats after all that & of course, a FetchTags so if she ever decides to head off on one of her adventures again she will be wearing her smart tag!
We wish Joy and her owners the best of luck as they head off on their next adventure together!
