Weller went missing on 1st December whilst on a walk with his owner in Burgess Hill Burial grounds meadow. He was wearing a green coat and a red collar. His tag has full details and he is chipped.

He was spooked by a gunshot whilst on a training lead (used following recent surgery ass advised by his vet).
His owner had to release the lead clip as it appears he was tangled, and Weller managed to get free at this point, despite being held.
He was walking near the benches just past the metal lady when this happened and ran out across the grass.
His owner notified the chip company and local vets, but has been in and out of hospital since and we are unsure of who else was informed. I have spoken with msdc about Weller.
Weller is listed on Lost Dogs UK and DronesSarforlostdogsUk have asked for help from their volunteers. Unfortunately no one with a drone has been able to get in the air so far - partly due to the weather, partly as they are all volunteers and work too.
Posters have been put up - but please feel free to download / print and put up posters from Lost dogs UK. I will be putting up more.
Searches have been done in the surrounding areas, bushes have been checked but no confirmed sightings nor any sound while checking these.
There was a sighting of a similar dog without a coat on in Greenlands drive / Oak hall park on Tuesday 5th at 08.30am but nothing since.
We feel it is time to search all areas again and places a little further afield. If you can spare some time to help please get in touch. We need searches done around Hurstpierpoint / Malthouse lanes and businesses / farm / outbuilding ther - as well as Hassocks and Burgess hill.
Please do not chase Weller if you see him, he has been anxious recently.
Nicki Scriven has been very kind and offered advice which has been taken. We will ask for further help if there is a positive sighting of Weller.

These two babies are looking for there forever homes - is that with you?

Our precious little pair Nero and Cindy have been in foster here in Leicester a really long time, with very little interest. Does anyone want to take on the joy of this special pair? It is so rare in dogs that a father will stay with the children but that’s exactly what Nero did for Cindy when they found themselves on the streets.

Both are small size, both affectionate and sweet. Nero is 6 and Cindy is about a year and a half. They are living with 5 other dogs and would be happy in a home either with or without other dogs.

Can anyone help give these two their happy ever after? After everything they have been through together, we would hate to have to split them up! Please share, and hopefully we won’t have to.

This is Terry. He is a 2 year old, male. Terry is looking for a farm, stables or small holding where he can explore and even help with some pest control. Terry prefers to keep himself to himself. Terry can live with other animals but can't live with any other cats.

We've all been guilty of leaving a poo behind...

Whether it's in a bag, or in the bushes, or hidden in the grass... as dog owners you can't help but accidentally leave a poo behind at least once in your dog's life!

Unfortunately, this 'trend' is not an accident it's deliberate. Please do not hang your poo bags (degradable or not) in bushes and trees, or leave them next to paths. If your local area needs more poo bins, contact your council or MP and tell them.

IT TAKES OVER 6 MONTHS FOR A P**P BAG TO BREAK DOWN! In that time the contents leaks out, and can fall on passersby, or children can touch it, not to mention other dogs.

If you're so confident that these bags break down, hang them around your own property. It's easy enough to 'double bag' a p**p and bring it home with you...

As a responsible dog owner YOU need to carry the waste, and YOU need to dispose of it. If you make a conscious action to hang a bag or place a bag somewhere public - you can also make a conscious action to be a better person and bring it home.

Nobody wants to spend their walks through nature confronted by a stinking, polluted poo-tree.... especially in the hot summer ahead. Please share this message.
