Ever wondered where the odd socks are? Yesterday’s fun was removing 2 socks from a wee dogs stomach by endoscopy! They had been in there a while making the poor boy pretty sore and were very smelly! So watch those odd socks!

This gorgeous boy turned 12 today. We didn’t think this day would come after he was diagnosed with cancer 10 years ago! Plenty of other things have needed treatment since then but he’s got fantastic people around him!

I still love this picture as it reminds me why I do what I do each day. Owning a pet with cancer is so hard and I am so proud to be able to help people by offering online consultations and advice that is affordable and accessible. This has been especially important this week with patients that find travelling stressful and owners who are trying to juggle caring for the pets with working. There is an easier path and through supporting vets and their clients I can make the cancer journey a little easier.

"I just wanted to thank you for everything you have done for Olive. Her quality of life has been amazing while she has been going through chemotherapy, we’ve had some rough times with her but on the whole she has responded incredibly, better than we could have ever hoped for.

She’s back to being her old self, she’s so happy and full of life and it’s just amazing to see! I can’t express enough how grateful we are to have this extra time with Olive and to see her enjoying herself again!

She even managed to be the ring bearer at our wedding in July and I don’t even think she would have been with us by then if it hadn’t been for the chemotherapy. It made our day even more special being able to have Olive there with us as we’d always planned!"
