Confidence is key! 🔑

This little lady was very scared on her first visit to Coco's. Second visit, still not great.
Third visit, much happier!

I've been offering her treats, taking it easy, letting her smell and investigate her environment.

I also asked mum to make a habit of touching her paws at home, as this was the part of the groom she was most uncomfortable with.

It's definitely working as she is more at home and relaxed during the groom. We'll take that'll as a win! 🏆

If your dog is particularly reluctant during a groom, at home or with a professional, there may be something reinforcing the dogs anxiety.

With 10 years experience, I tend to spot these anxieties from quite a distance and really appreciate when my clients notice how comfortable I make their pets 💞

The difference SIX Emmi Pet dental treatments can make!

We start off with a consultation where your pet will get their own brush head and a taster into the treatment process. This will help me determine your dogs tolerance and required treatment plan.

Each treatment thereafter is 30-45 minutes and are best in frequent succession (1-2 weekly) for exceptional results.

Once we're happy the Plaque and Tartar build up is removed, we can move onto Maintenance, which is looking after your dogs teeth and gums hereon out.

You can book in for a standalone treatment, or add this onto your grooming appointment!

No anaesthetic, no noise, no vibrations - Instead 96 million ultrasonic waves working against plaque and tartar build up. (Brushing alone is around 25 thousand movements).

Plaque forms when saliva, food particles and bacteria accumulate. Left untreated they combine with minerals in the mouth to create tartar on the teeth.

Plaque and tartar affect the gum line, making it bleed. This creates an avenue for bacteria to enter the blood line and lead to periodontal disease; decay and infections.

Emmi Pet is suitable for mild to moderate cases - At this stage, we can intervene with regular treatments to remove the build up. Once removed, moving your pet onto a regular schedule to keep the plaque at bay.
