Paddy has been a huge part of my dog grooming career he’s been a client of mine right from the start I’ve loved pampering him and making him look beautiful. Sadly he went over the rainbow bridge yesterday I am absolutely devastated and will miss seeing him so much rip Pads 😩💔🐶💙💙

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment please give me as much notice as possible I know stuff comes up but my income is to pay bills and feed my family just like everyone else.

I’m going to start sending out reminders for appointments if you fail to give me 48 hours notice 50% of the groom will be payable if you no show me then full charge of the groom will be payable before you can re book back in.

I’ve had 3 no shows this week and worked my day off and did 3 dogs which if I’d of had notice I could of done the other days and actually had a full day off!

One no show a day of average £25 results in a loss of £75 a week. Roughly £300 a month. That’s £3600 a year. Even if the 50% cancellation is paid that’s still a loss of £1800 a year which to some is a months pay. Imagine working for a company and loosing a whole months wage every year that you rely on to pay bills. (I did pinch this comparison from another salons page but it speaks for itself, hopefully will help people understand why self employed dog groomers, hairdressers and beauticians etc have a cancellation policy) thankyou 😊

Feel like all I do is moan at the moment, but really getting fed up now honestly considering a different career! I’ve been letting people pay by bank transfer as I’m soft and I do have to pay for people using card but still waiting on some payments from this week. 😩🙄 Please send your payments before leaving it’s only fair if I have to chase you for a payment more than once I won’t groom your dog again it’s as simple as that. I already spend enough time grooming dogs booking appointments etc shouldn’t have to spend my free time chasing payments. 🙄
Rant over 😂 thank you to everyone else who always pays straight away I really do appreciate it!

Morning 😊 if you could book your appointments for the rest of the year especially December that would be fab don’t want to be turning anyone away! Also if you ask for an appointment and I give you some dates/ times I can do please reply ASAP as after 24 hours these will be offered to other clients. And also please be on time for picking dogs up massively affects my day and other clients days too.

‼️ PLEASE READ‼️
Hiya everyone hopefully I’ve got back to everyone 🤞🏼if you need an appointment in August/ start of September please let me know asap as they are filling up fast!
Also dogs with fleas will be charged an extra £5 on top of their groom as it currently costs me with the extra cleaning and products used.
Matted dogs will also be charged an extra £5 as this blunts my blades so they need sharpening. They take longer to groom and costs me more again if severely matted will be £10+ extra.
Please also make sure you know the correct amount for your dogs groom my prices did go up and think some have forgot. If you need to know the price before message me and il let you know although it may change if it takes longer than expected or dogs are matted or have fleas.
Less than 48 hours of notice about appointment cancellations will be charged at 50% or your groom thanks, Jodie 🐶💜
