Bandit Bo is so handsome and yet has had no adoption offer.
He’s super loving, gets on well with other cats and would love to have access to a garden.
Could you be his human?

Thank you!
With over 60 kittens in our care we are desperate for kitten food (wet and dry), and kitten formula. We also need litter bags (of all kind). If you can contribute some and drop off or get delivered to 6 Clyde Road, Wallington SM6 8PZ, the kittens would be ever so grateful.
Hopefully see you there! Sue has supported the rescue for years and has adopted from us. Please support her yard sale x
Summer months are always slow in adoptions but high in intake of pregnant or nursing queens - we are bursting at the seams with 118 cats (including 70 kittens!).
Some eye watering vet bills this months for various procedures including dentals, Maverick's nasal polyps and many more unplanned issues.

Expensive cat beds are not needed when you have a cardboard box, always a favourite 😻
Genie is simply adorable! Super laid back and would suit a home with young people who would spend time cuddling her. She loves being with her humans; especially ones who allow her to sleep on the bed. Expect lots of kisses and purring. If she sounds perfect for you please fill in our adoption application -

Ronnie, Reggie and Jet have worn themselves out playing. These 3 cuties and their siblings are now all ready for adoption. If you’re interested, head to our website and fill an application form: https://steppingstonesrescue.org/contact-us/
Maverick surgery went well and he is now back home and starting anti inflammatory treatment.
Genie has been for her check up. No more fluid build up but inflammation around her bladder causing her problem weeing so she has been prescribed anti inflammatory. No milk present however so the vet said it was not a good idea to return the kittens to her. They did get the colostrum from their mum and are gaining weight so we will keep hand rearing them. 🍼
Maverick is having surgery today to remove his nose polyps. Goose went to the vet with him as they are bonded and they keep each other calm. Let’s hope the surgery is a success this time 🤞🏻
I’ve had my weekly bath and weighing session and I’m now 600g!
Genie is back with her fosterer. She has developed a small ulcer in her left eye so she will administer eye drop. She is demanding lots of cuddles and loving her scratch post. Not eating much, but that could be the cone and today’s heat. Hopefully, we can reunite her with the kittens after her vet check on Monday 🤞🏻
6 weeks old Pumpkin is a ball of energy this morning 🐈⬛🤭
An update on Genie: her temperature is down to just under 40, she is draining less & less fluid, bloods redone and fine. A further scan showed still some fluid in her abdomen but not enough to concern the vet so no further treatment needed at present just observation.
If all well tomorrow it’s another small surgery to remove the catheter from her abdomen and likely another night in hospital. After that if she is well enough we will reunite her with her kittens who are currently being hand reared.
Remember Sweety Pie (now Martha) who we rescued from a horrible cat colony in Thornton Heath? She’s a little fighter and despite some ups and downs, thanks to her amazing handrearer’s care, she has just reached 500g which considering how poorly and malnourished she was is a real milestone! She’s a little purring machine and doesn’t meow properly but squeaks instead.
Any experienced handrearers please contact us asap. Genies babies need help
Today Genie’s fosterer was concerned over her not going to the toilet nor eating properly and she was advised to take her to the vet. They expressed a huge amount of urine & faeces and did an ultrasound which showed fluid floating around her organs. After further tests they decided she needed surgery.
She is now recovering. They removed a large amount of urine, flushed her abdomen and inserted a drain so they can monitor any further fluid accumulation. Bladder wall was intact, no apparent issues with tubes, urethra intact, kidneys appear normal. So they have no idea what the cause was. There is the danger of peritonitis so they will be observing her over next 24 hours for that and any further fluid build up.
In the meantime we will have to hand rear her 4 kittens.
We will keep you posted and will appeal to your generosity to help us towards the costs once we know the total amount.

Nova popped out for breakfast and some well deserved attention after giving birth to six beautiful kittens.🐈⬛
Nova has been in labour for the last couple of hours, closely monitored by her fosterer. Here are the first 2 born, more to come… PS: Put sound on for cute little squeaks
One of the three colony kittens we took on last night enjoying her evening milk.
Florence’s kittens are 5 weeks tomorrow , Purdy is the only one eating yet and she only started last night , the others aren’t at all interested yet. She’s the only girl of the litter and is a foodie 😂
Dora and Diva are doing great, check out how they have grown in the last few days!! Full of energy even in this hot weather. 😻
Bandit Bo has been neutered and will be ready for adoption in around a week. He will be added to our website shortly.
Still no home offer for Cleopatra 😢 This old girl is healthy and loving and deserves to spend her twilight years in a home where she’ll be spoilt and made a fuss of. https://steppingstonesrescue.org/cats/cleopatra/
Suki has had her babies early this morning, under the vigilant eye of her fosterer. Mummy and the 5 babies are doing great!
Despite being visually impaired Tilly, who lost an eye after an awful infection, still enjoys her screen time! There are some really good apps for cats to play with!
Cleopatra might be an old lady but she still loves a treat! https://steppingstonesrescue.org/cats/cleopatra/
