Behind the scenes I’ve been so busy. We’ve had new incomes, including a baby rat that was found by a member of the publics cat who decided to bring him indoors😢 so he’s currently getting around the clock care, and coming with me everywhere❤️
Buns who were found dumped, missing fur, pregnant and fighting💔

8 Piggies joined us, and adoptions have taken place🩷

We have 2 cats cheerio & Salem, booked in for neuters at the end of the month, 4 microchip cat appointments booked in and 2 rabbit castrates.

We also have our next jumble sale in august, so watch out for that!🩷

Splash & Rocket are a sweet natured pair of female kittens, who cannot be split unless rehomed where you have another cat/s . They will be microchipped before leaving. They are both 8 weeks old and full of personality ❤️

Dinky is a 3 year old female, who is looking for a quiet home. She isn’t overly fussed on being homed with other cats, and doesn’t care about dogs who don’t bother with her either.

She is an indoor ONLY cat, so must stay indoors.

She has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Up to date with flea and wormer.

🌸FOOD APPEAL🌸

Hiya lovely people. We are currently in desperate need of a few items off our Wishlist for our hungry hippos here in rescue. We are currently going through a box of 40 pouches a day😩 and dry feed throughout the day for the kitty cats🌸

We are also running low on rabbit nuggets and guinea pig nuggets🌿

If anybody could please help by either donating, or if you can’t, sharing this post, we’d be extremely grateful.

Can you offer Harold a forever loving home?❤️

Harold is a 8 month old, male, mini lop🐰 who is curious and loves lots of space to explore.

His favourite things to do are digging in his digging box, doing zoomies, eating ( of course ) and catching a few Z’s sun bathing❤️

He is used to being with our bundle of buns, and is doing fabulous. He is a very laid back part of the team, so would suit a fussy spayed female or a group🐰

Can you offer Razor a loving home?🐱

He joined us due to his old owners moving out of the country and couldn’t rehome him. They were sadly going to put him to sleep💔💔

He is a very nervous boy, however, absolutely loves a good fuss and a cozy blanket to go to sleep on.

He is a 7 year old big lad, who just wants a nice quiet home to call his own. He’s not too keen on other cats, but as long as he has space he doesn’t mind. He’s neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated🐱

Rabbit Awareness Week🐰

Here are just some of the things you may not know about these furry little cutie pies!🐰

1. Rabbits are prey animals.

2. Rabbits cannot vomit like Cats and Dogs. This is why it is extremely important to feed them the correct foods and hay to keep their guts going to stop them from going into GI Stasis ( Gastrointestinal Stasis)

3. Although people think carrots are good for bunnies, they are not. They are full of sugar and should only be fed in moderation. The same you would with fruits.🥕

4. Rabbits clean themselves! They do NOT need a bath and should never be bathed unless a vet says otherwise. The reason being is that rabbits fur is dense and they can get pneumonia and die is not dried off properly.

5. Rabbits teeth never stop growing. This is why hay is extremely important in your rabbits diet. I fact a rabbits diet consists of 80% hay 10% veggies 5% pellets 5% forage🐰🐰🐰

6. Like guinea pigs, rabbits produce 2 types of p**ps. Cecotropes are the p**ps they eat. These p**ps are full of nutrients. The other, well is just p**p! 💩

7. A female rabbit is called a Doe. A male rabbit is called a Buck🐰🐰

8. A young rabbit is called a Kit ( Kitten )

9. Happy rabbits ‘binky’ which is where they jump, twist in the air and zoom🐰

10. Rabbits require yearly vaccinations regardless of them living indoors or out. To protect them against Myxomatosis and both strains of RHVD.
