Our boarders are all near the end of their stays now 😟

Laszlo the Hungarian Viszla has made a new friend overnight (Marley) he has settled in really well and is having a great time.

Marley is a Dachshund puppy who is with us for two nights. He has been well behaved so far, by puppy standards at least 😂 and has been playing non stop with Laszlo in between timeouts 😊

Ted has become a sock thief and we catch him running around with them all the time. He has settled in really well too and is a lot more relaxed than the beginning of his stay. He has been playing a lot and has now hit his tired out stage of the stay where he likes to sleep a lot more.

Graison has been following us around wherever we go, including the bathroom 😂 he’s having lots of fun playing with toys. He really wants to play with the other dogs but he just doesn’t understand how to go about it. We still have a couple of days left with him so we’re hopeful he might have at least one play session with another dog but we will have to wait and see.

If you have a puppy who you want socialising while they’re young why not book in for a couple of nights. We will look after your new pet and make sure they get a positive experience with other dogs in a home environment that will set them up for life.

Very busy here!

So much that I haven’t had chance to post!

All our friends from last week have now gone home (some have even been and gone since then too) and we’re missing them all!

So just a quick photo dump to show who we have with us for the weekend 😊

And of course Sunny and Poppy!

Bit of a mad house but all the dogs are getting on great and currently conked out from a morning of fun.

Officially Licensed!

The paperwork has been processed and I have been awarded a 4⭐️ license from the council 😀. I’m happy to be able to continue to offer my services for the foreseeable future 😊. To get a 4 star is just amazing too as it would be impossible for me to of gotten 5.

Now to the dogs. Lexi has gone home and been replaced by Roxy the Boxer. She took a few days to settle and had a few iffy moments with Juno. We worked through them though and everyone is happy together now and getting along just fine. Roxy loves a fuss and has the softest fur.

Bear, kaia and Juno are still with us too. Juno has been in Meerkat mode in the window today and has started to creep in to our bed in the mornings now.

Bear has been having lots of play with Juno and they are besties but he’s liked having some rough play with me too.

Kaia is just the most lovely dog! She loves a cuddle but has enjoyed some time to herself in the conservatory every now and again. Whenever someone comes in to the house she grabs their hand with her mouth and pulls them away so she gets attention first, it’s so adorable.

Another couple of days of changes sees the last of our dogs from last week go home. We said bye to Raven this morning.

But we have said hello to Lexi the mix breed bundle of energy! She has made quick friends with Kaia (who you will meet shortly). She settled in almost immediately and has such a gorgeous face!

Bear is here, a Bernese Mountain dog X Collie. He is the only male here with 6 girls for him to take his pick of 😂. He’s had fun playing so far and again has settled in well!

Bear has come with his sister Kaia, a Hungarian Vizsla. She was a little jealous of Bear playing with Lexi to begin with but has now found a friend in Juno. She loves cuddles and looking out of the upstairs windows. Another stunner!

Finally Juno is still with us 😊 she took a few days to settle and when she did, all her friends went home and she had to start again with new ones. She’s doing great though and is having a lot of fun. She’s loving her canal side walks and all the playtime😊

We’ve nearly had a full switch around. Raven is the last one standing and as you can see, she’s pretty tired out from her fun time here!

We now also have Graison visiting for his last socialisation session before his stay. This is the first time we’ve introduced him to other dogs apart from our beagles and he’s done outstandingly well. Everyone is off lead and chilling out together.

Juno is back after her trial for her 17 night stay with us. She took a day to gain her confidence and settle in to the pack but she’s made good progress and is starting to play with the others now.

We have Chase the Beagle and Loki the British Timber Dog also completing their trial stay with us before their vacation in September.
Chase is the most adorable beagle o have ever seen!
He’s so small and handsome. He got on well with Nola before she left but is a little lost now she’s gone home.
He’s getting more than enough cuddles from us to make up for it though.

Loki has been all energy since he arrive and hasn’t stopped. He has made friends with every dog here but he is pretty exhausted after just one day.

So we have 2 new additions to the pack!

Archie is a Lhasa Apso and has not long arrived. He’s still getting a feel for the place and trying to decide who he wants to make friends with but has so far loved his time in the garden and now in the bay window watching the world go by.

Raven is an olde English bulldogge . She has settled in well, even if she has been non stop since getting here. She loves a fuss but has been struggling a bit with this heat!

We’ve had a house full of hot dogs 🌭 these last few days and so we’ve taken to spending the days in the garden where they can lay in the grass to keep cool. Night times has been fan central and I’m sure our electric bill will be through the roof at the end of the month! 😂

Nola, Luffy and Charlie are still here although we’re preparing to say our goodbyes to Charlie tomorrow 😟

Luffy has come to stay. He is a 2 yr old golden retriever, he LOVES walks and fuss. and is having a great time with his older counterpart.

They look like a before and after shot for a shampoo ad 😂

Charlie and Nola are still here too but are quickly ticking off the days until they go home. Everyone is getting along perfectly.

We have a new arrival tomorrow and Friday so keep your eyes peeled for some more gorgeous pics 👀

So when we heard that it was Nola’s birthday whilst she was staying with us, we just knew we had to have a party!

And we are back to it again after our couple of days off!

We have Nola the Bullmastiff, Daisy the Yorkshire Terrier, Charlie the golden retriever as well as Nico the Frenchie visiting for day care sessions.

Nola is a gentle giant and has settled in quickly, she loves a fuss but so far has been happy chilling to herself.

Daisy has been quite nervous, she is an older girl at 15 and not too keen on spending time with the other dogs. She loves a cuddle though and hasn’t left our side.

Charlie is our newest arrival and is still settling in but we’re sure he’s enjoying his stay already and is glad for the alternative to the kennels.

Nico came to us with his owners sceptical that I would be able to take a booking due to him not getting along with dogs. We have worked with him and taken our time socialising him with various breeds. He has done really well and his owners are amazed by his quick progress.

So we have now said our goodbyes to Teddy and Charlie. They were the best of friends during their stay, they acted like brothers, loved playing with each other. They were both really loving dogs and we got our fair share of cuddles whilst they were here.

We now have a couple of nights rest with just our girls in the house. They have been so well behaved whilst we have started this new adventure. They’ve had to share their toys, their house, their blankets and most of all their attention. I’m so proud that they’ve reacted so well to all of the change 😊

This weekend has been another busy one.
We had Juno and Elsie visit for one night stays as well as dog walks booked with Monty and Huncho.

Charlie and Teddie are still here enjoying their holidays too!

All the dogs settled in well with each other very quickly and were best friends before we knew it.

We are looking forward to Juno’s stay with us in a few weeks and we hope that we will see Elsie again. We love a Beagle booking in this house 😊

Today we’ve said hello to Teddy and welcomed him in to the pack. Teddy is a bundle of fun and after a quick settling in period has made friends with Charlie and Lola.
They are having a great time playing together.

Unfortunately Reggie and Lola come to the end of their stay this afternoon and will be heading home. They made beagle buds with Sunny and Poppy and have loved their evening cuddling up on the infamous blanket.

Reggie the food thief and Lola the cuddle monster have been a pleasure to have. We are going to miss them a lot!
Although it will be nice to be able to eat again without the fear of being mugged by Reggie 😂

A little switcheroo today sees Alfie the Cockapoo go home and Charlie the Labrador take his place.

Alfie has been a popular guy in the pack and has been playing with nearly every dog that has visited. He loves cuddling up to anyone, human or canine and is just a bundle of fun!

We hope to see him again in the future but for now we are settling in Charlie to his stay with us.

Availability is now close to full throughout July and August but if you want to ditch the kennels and give home boarding a try please get in touch either via message or through the Rover app. The benefits are endless.

Very busy few days with some last minute bookings taking us up to capacity.
We have our own beagles Sunny and Poppy
Two more beagles, Lola and Reggie
Two frenchies Wally and Bruno
A cockapoo Alfie

They are all loving their playtime (and chill time) together and you wouldn’t think they were strangers a few days ago.

All dogs that stay with us are assessed beforehand to make sure they will fit in with other dogs that are joining them for their stays. We provide 24/7 supervision and still offer the personal attention for each and every dog.

Availability is extremely limited for July and August now so if you are looking for the perfect stay for your pooch whilst you go on holiday, make sure to get in touch soon!

Today Frank and Angus have come for daycare.

Frank likes to chill out whilst Angus loves to play. He’s tipped the doggy toy box out more times than I can remember but has definitely found a favourite.
Unfortunately it is a squeaker so there has been no peace and quiet at all!

They like their time alone especially Frank, however I keep finding them cuddled up and chilling out together between playing.

If you have an event going on at home and need some space from your pooch. Why not book in with us and let them have a fun filled day of play and walks 😊

Yesterday Graison came for daycare so we could familiarise him with our house and see how he reacted to the new environment before his stay later this year.

We are well and truly impressed with his progress in such a short period of time! He was able to be let off lead and unmuzzled, not only with me but with Sunny and Poppy too.
He still has a little way to go and still baring his teeth at times but it’s night and day compared to when we first started working with him!

We will be booking a few more visits between now and his booking but we can’t wait for him to stay with us! He’s such a lovely gorgeous dog.

Today the girls say goodbye to Max. His stay is over and he’s heading home. He will be missed.
But a quick turnaround sees Arla taking his place.

Arla is a rescue from Romania and has such a cute face. She loves playing with toys and rolls over to get belly strokes.

Today Rhea has joined the pack. She has made an instant connection with Max and have been inseparable.

Today we have Max with us on the third day of his stay. Max has been a handful but is settling in more and more each day.
He is having a great time and loves chewing on this antler.

He’s a real gorgeous boy!

Today we met with Graison for our 3rd meet.

Graison is looking to board with us in the future but is human and dog reactive/aggressive. Rather than turn him away, we agreed to work with him to attempt to get him to a stage where he could stay.

When we first met him we couldn’t get within 2metres without him trying to bite us. But we persevere and by the end of each session we see massive progress every time!

Today even though he does still attempt to bite us, we decided to remove his muzzle. We still have a lot to do with him but Graison is taking huge steps and showing us what a lovely dog he is when you get through his protective exterior 😊
