Hi everyone ,

Unfortunately kennel cough is going around at the moment, we have got 2 wanderers currently displaying symptoms of it, one began over the weekend and one today.

Symptoms of Kennel cough commonly include coughing, gagging, clearing throat, lethargy and nasal discharge. If your dog has any of these or seems unwell please let me know as soon as possible as they will be unable to mix with the other dogs.

Kennel cough is highly contagious and affected dogs will need to be kept away from other dogs for 2 weeks. Puppies and elderly dogs are at higher risk of becoming more unwell. Most dogs can be managed at home without needing a trip to the vet, but if your dog contracts it and you have concerns please contact your vet directly.

Arlo is looking for a new home 🏡

He is a 17 month old King Charles Cavalier who needs an adult only, active home. Arlo displays some guarding behaviours, particularly around chews/food but also recently hes shown similar behaviour when having his lead removed. His current family have been following advice from a trainer regarding this. I have personally walked Arlo from being a puppy and he is a lovely boy who loves training and is great in the company of other dogs, he can be humpy when over excited but was recently chemically castrated and this has calmed on his last few walks. He loves exploring and being busy but the guarding is a problem in his current home as he lives with 2 children. His family want only the best for him and I can put you in touch if interested. He currently lives with a cat who he is respectful of and doesn't chase or pester. He can be left alone for sensible periods of time and has been crate trained too.

A super chilly garden visit for this lovely lot ❤️ Ruby and George tried to opt out but with some bribery and a help out of bed we gave in and came outside to beg dramatically for treats 🤣🐾 Toby flew out the door at 80mph as he wanted the cat food but unlucky for him I'd already moved it aside after realising he was stealing it yesterday 🤣
