Our Instructor Karin Lee is back from a more than successful first weekend in Scotland with some very talented dogs and their handlers. There is a 9 week gap now until their first assessment on Module 1 and 2. Karin had no time to take any photos as always engaging with the students is more important.
Yesterday we saw 3 handler teams at the Sussex progressive workshop. These slow mo clips show how quickly a dog takes the scent from an article even though the handler some times thinks the dog hasn't got it - it has!
Recording videos of your trails and watching them back is a key tool in learning your dogs behaviour! Watching at half speed helps you to see even more of your dogs behaviour!
One of our handlers young dog, who met a cat for the first time! Harlow cats are pretty hard and this one was proper hissy!!! Slow mo action for you on this one!!! ππ
