I’m sure many people may know by now that our family recently experienced tragedy with a accidental fire destroying our home while 3 dogs were inside the property, Koda and his cousins Milo and Roxy. Elliott managed to pull all 3 dogs out of the property and we started CPR on them however sadly Milo and Roxy were not able to be saved, Koda has miraculously survived but is currently in critical condition in intensive care at Davies Vet specialist.

We are absolutely heartbroken with what has happened. So many people have already been so kind and supportive offering help wherever they can.

One of my amazing friends Danii has been so amazing and set up a go fund me page for Koda to try help with treatment and rehabilitation costs (all though we are insured, we are fairly sure his total treatments cost will go over the cover limit).

We have decided to start featuring a different rescue pup every Friday from Merlin’s Haven Rescue, who is looking for their forever home. 🥰

This week it’s the turn of handsome Hamish 🤎

Hamish was found as a small pup, all alone and terrified, hiding in some trees in the middle of a storm. We are so grateful he was rescued and brought to us. Hamish is an absolutely stunning boy with the most beautiful eyes. He is great with people and loves to cuddle up with you. He mixed really well with the dogs here, so we think he would be great in a home with other dogs or on his own. He has been house-trained, can do basic commands, he walks well on a lead and has good recall. He really deserves a chance at forever, please don't overlook him.

Lilly the lapdog is a little cutie who was found as a stray and was with the municipality for the maximum 15 days but luckily we got her before she was put to sleep. She plays well with other dogs of all sizes and absolutely adores humans and attention! As soon as you sit down, she will be next you, hoping for a chance to snuggle up with you for cuddles. She would make an excellent addition to any family. 🏡
