Frank the pumpkin head is great entertainment and a lovely treat for our girls π
ππ¦We wanted to share a slow-motion video of one of our ducks enjoying the pool π¦π Isnβt it just so much fun?!? π
This morning we collected these lovely ducks and they are loving the water, sun and stretching their wings after the journey to us. Now the last stage β¦.. being picked up to go to their forever pond. We love happy endings π₯°π π¦ππ¦π
Weβre so happy to say that our lovely new lady has a name and is settling in well!
Our Poll was 50/50 between Myrtle and Beaky, but we asked a friend to choose and she went with Myrtle so here we are!
A beautiful sunny day to introduce herself to her new sisters too! π₯°
They are not βjust a chickenβ for so many reasonsβ¦.this is one. As usual she jumped 3 fences to get to the kitchen ππππ
πππ Update:- Samantha has made her decision and these lovely girls are now going to have a fantastic life with one of our volunteers. What a fantastic and successful day it was. Thank you all πππ
These 6 beautiful girls are looking for a new home together. Due to change in circumstances their current owner has to give them up and is heartbroken about that. So understandably she would like them to go to a home where they will be much loved pets. For details please contact us and weβll put you in touch πππ
As most of you know, we keep every special-needs chicken and most of you know about our crossbeak Wonka. This is her after having been fed and warming up with heat packs. Put up the volume and you can hear her enjoying a cuddle and the warmth ππππ
And the saga of Wonkaβs great escape adventures continuesβ¦ π Caught in the act! No shame whatsoever π
Granted I was a few minutes after 9am late for her breakfastβ¦ I think weβre going to have to go full Jurassic Park fences for this clever little dinosaur!
Most of you know about Wonka, our cross beak girl. We brought her back from a farm a couple of years ago, hardly alive but she has since doubled her weight and is loving life! Because she needs to be hand fed 3x a day, she knows her feeding times and if youβre not on time she will try to jump fences so she can come to the kitchen door, knock on the door demanding to be fedβ¦NOW! π
Today I caught her taking advantage of the tree that fell at the weekend so she could get out of her enclosure easier β¦. We love that funny girl π₯°π
