DogwerX Gundog Training were invited by Rixton dog school to host an Introduction to Gundog Training session at Arley Moss Canine Centre, it was a fabulous evening all the dogs showed natural talent with a Staffie and a Corgi holding their own against the labs and cocker... well done to the handlers hope your feeling super proud cos you smashed it. 💪😃👏

We attended the Italian Spinone Club of GB Gundog Working Test on Sat 9th August.
We didn't get into the awards as we had a dropped dummy on one of the retrieves, but did manage a 6th place out of 10 dogs entered in the puppy class.😀

This little fella is Bruce, a 21 week old Labrador, he is advanced well beyond his few months of age, keen retriever, listens and is quick to learn and apply the skills we are teaching him.
Of course he is only a baby, and we need to get our foundations solid, so along side the fun holding and carrying skills, we are training the recall, heel walking, calmness, sitting etc, all with the 3 Ds of duration, distance and distractions..
His owners are super proud of him and rightly so. 👏👏👏
