Our group sessions will be starting again shortly, to those already training with Dogwerx I will be posting the dates on our Dogwerx Trainee page, message as usual if you want to book your places.
As well as our more experienced novices group on Thursdays, we will be holding an intermediate level group on Mondays, and in February a beginner gundog group, aimed at working gundogs and pet gundogs.

Pics from our last group session of 2024, and of course its December so Christmas games and fun was on the agenda with prizes galore..
Handlers and dogs scored points for retrieves, recalls, stops, dummy throwing, steadiness, and heel work.
All dogs and owners had a great time with lots of laughs 😃😃😃
Group sessions will restart in 2025

Latest group training pics, 😀
Each dog fully focused on their work, as well as usual retrieve scenarios, we did a picking up drive, and also a sweep for potential lost dummies.
Despite the cold and snow on the ground it was a fabulous session 👌

Our November and December dates for group retrieving sessions are now full.
Handlers training with DogwerX get first opportunities for a place, as they are advertised on our group training page first.
The new year will see group sessions for dogs and handlers who need a little more work on their retrieves,
And hopefully a group for those starting out with gundog retrieves.

Introduce your young dog while it is still mild, or to improve your novice dogs water skills for entry and delivery.
For working gundogs, and for pet gundogs too.

Audrey and her owner practice loose lead walking, holding the lead gently, and keeping it smiling, also being able to just chill and relax while the humans chat..
progress takes practice, and patience no quick fix, just learning and understanding

DogwerX trainees Lottie and Rudi attended the Natural Aptitude Test organised by the Large Munsterlander Club. Both dogs achieving higher than the standards required in many aspects of the tests.
Super proud of their handlers, massive well done Amanda and Alison 👏👏👏👏
