Due to a change in circumstances we are looking for an experienced, reliable and enthusiastic person to join a small, friendly National Hunt team based on the Brendon Hills near Taunton.

The job will involve riding out, going racing, general yard duties and mucking out. There could be an opportunity to progress into a more senior role for the right candidate.

TB, 16.2hh, 14yo, Handsome Liver Chesnut, Gelding.

This is a very sad sale of our stable stalwart due to owner being currently out of action for the foreseeable. So the hard decision has been made to sell this sweet natured gentleman.  

He will ideally be suited to an active, competent, 5* home. He has had a successful racing career and finished with clean limbs. He jumps for fun, hacks alone or in company, good in traffic and used to farm life. He is a forward going confident persons ride.  

He is a gentleman in the stable, good to box, shoe, catch, clip, etc. He has been out of training since last year, was due to come back into work with the idea of reschooling him to possibly go team chasing, eventing and he is smart enough to go ROR showing but due to owners current situation he will be sold as he stands hence he is at the bargain price of
£3750 ono.

Joker Jack finished a strong 5th in a competitive novice hurdle at Hereford yesterday, under a ride from Peter (Fionn) Summers.
We are very pleased with his progress, he is a promising, fun young horse. He will run again soon in the coming weeks.

Cold Steel ran in his first National Hunt Flat race yesterday at Exeter. The conditions were very tough and the New Years Day meeting was very busy, despite this he coped extremely well and we were very pleased for him to stay on for 5th place under a ride from Peter (Fionn) Summers. He took everything in yesterday and will certainly have learnt a lot, we look forward to getting him out again on better ground. We are very grateful to his owners Jackie and Neil Mansbridge.
