DO NOT do what it instructs you to do!

Hedgehogs DO NOT sleep exposed and unrolled. If you see a hedgehog like this or out in the daytime, take it to a rescue immediately.

Only rely on posts directly from rescues, not from individuals or groups.

Here’s a pretty clear, and very shocking, visual representation of the decline in the number of hedgehogs in Britain since the late 1980’s 😳

The good news is that the rate of decline has slowed recently in urban areas, when compared to rural areas, due to supplementary feeding and the public looking out for them and contacting rescues when they spot a hedgehog in trouble.
