Lots of growing, training, trials, health testing and fun to look forward over the next few years but she’s everything we could have hoped for and more so far a 24 carat SOLID athletic bull in the making.

Probably the most important piece of paper in our dogs file, you don’t need clout, you don’t need fancy patterns or elite conformation to achieve this you just need 20 minutes a day, UKBKC registration and to turn up at a show and get certified. You are then officially an ambassador for the breed and proving you really give a f**k about it’s success in the dog world and society as a whole - train your dog people……

It’s the girls, 2 weeks old with all the boys spoken for just 2nd and 3rd pick females remaining from this stellar athletic class litter. We are a show / performance home occasionally pairing elite dogs to produce the next generation of show stoppers not a commercially licensed puppy farm.

Some action shots of Mack in a recent ADVeV protection sports trial, whilst he showed tremendous drive he didn’t quite secure his ZWP1 title on this occasion in hindsight at just under 12 months he was a little young for this one but we know what we need to work on for next time…..

Show handling training critique….. Ok so I’m a raw novice at this, Sadie in the right hands performs almost flawlessly but I thought I’d post some of these to show you the mistakes and hopefully the progress as we develop - myself as a show handler and Sadie from a pup to an adult female xl American Bully she’s only 8 months in this clip. Side stack was methodical but untidy - always have the titbit handy digging around in your pocket is just faff the judge don’t need to see and you risk the dog unstacking itself, hocks and front legs should have been perpendicular but there was too much movement back and forth which crashed her topline just before the step off, tugged too hard on the lead on the step off. which made it look unnatural. Her gait is lovely I could have moved her a little faster but it risks her breaking into a canter but it’s a work in progress for me to nail the pace. I overturned her for the front stack my arm should have been extended, the target was the yellow line this is a bad habit of mine 😬😬. Front stack was awkward I set her up off centre so it was awkward for her to hold plus she’s become fixated by the random kid I grabbed to film us this is how it will be in the ring - all new every time so that’s the reason above all else to train little and often consistently with all sorts of distractions to teach her to focus. All in all I’m giving myself a 3/10 for that performance, thankfully I have a little star of a pup 🐶 and plenty of time to improve as she matures 😁will pop these up every now and again for those that are interested any seasoned campaigners or judges watching feel free to comment
