Not a goodbye it’s a see you later as these beauties move to pastures new with their humans ….
I have walked Rex and Maisy on and off for the past 8 years . And what adventures we have had in every weather condition possible.
From a much younger Rex thinking he was the lad about town , all noise and posturing to the once timid Maisy.
Rex was always Maisy s protector he acted like the big tough guy but was a big softie inside , he used to try take on the world and as he got older walks became interesting when he would suddenly go off on his merry way in the opposite direction to what he knew we were walking … Rex is now a grand old man who’s beaten so many odds to proudly say he’s growing old disgracefully which is fine by me ❤️
Maisy she was so shy and timid and most of the time a good girl when off lead until she remembered she’s a harrier hound ,she’s had me wading through water , climbing vertical banks or just standing around waiting for her to return which she always did usually covered in fox p**p 💩! . Maisy has gone from shy to a bit braver and she has no problem voicing her opinion the way hounds do , she’s taken on the roll of looking after rex which Rex seems happy with ❤️
Over the years we have all gained a lot of grey hairs ( mine mostly from the dogs antics) and to say I will miss them is an understatement as not only have the pups been a major part of my life their owners have become special friends and long may this continue.
Good luck Rex , Maisy , Tom and Amy in your new home and on your new adventures
Below is just a few of the 1,000 plus photos I have ….
