And considering the last post was about summer turnout (sack the social media person 😂) today was a wrap and we closed the summer fields !!
What a wet and horrible “summer” it has been but we are lucky to of had 6 long months of 24hr turnout and last it until now !!
The horses and ponies are in and the winter fields open tomorrow!

The horses were ready to come in but not us owners 😂😂 here’s to looking forward to summer 24 😝

We have had such a lovely to start to summer and thought we would share an update with you ! The horses are out and happy, we welcomed some rain yesterday in this heat ☀️💦 but it has been lovely to see the horses so content. We are currently full for stables and grass livery but always happy to pop people on waiting lists. It takes a lot of ups and downs to create a nice yard but we have a lovely atmosphere and enjoy our beautiful surroundings 💛

The grass liveries were all enjoying a snooze in the sunshine today. It was a cold but beautiful frosty sunny day 🐴 Iv had a lot of messages about rugging up through the winter - every horse is different therefore requiring an individual need. There’s a link which is quite useful 👇

A late night check in and everyone was fine 🥰 we are lucky to have a secluded spot and even welcomed some temporary local horses for the night in one of our fields as they have a lot of fireworks near them 🐴 we hope everyone’s horses are safe and well 💗

The winter field was prepped and ready for turnout today. We have just closed our summer turnout and considering it’s nearly November I think we have done well 🐴 the ponies were very happy 🥰 lucky to be able to have them out all year round 💚

With the hot weather this week we have worked the horses whilst it’s been cooler and given the majority of them a nice bath to cool them down.
Our grass liveries are sun creamed and sprayed and there’s lots of trees to keep them cool in the shade.
Dare I say we are ready for a bit of rain to water down the dusty air and give the fields a drink 🙊🙊🙊

Very thankful to have lots of grass - not as good when your trying to find a lost shoe 👀👀 and poo pick in grass above your knees 🙈The horses and ponies have had a bath day today, a trim up and a well deserved rest.

We also have 2 lovely sales horses in and they will be ready for sale soon 👀👀
