Well our pet give away went really well. We gave away over 70 meals to dogs, cats and rabbits thanks to your donations. We hope you all have a wonderful christmas and remember we are here if you need support.

We have only been running for a few months and the donations we have recieved from the public have been overwhelming. Massive thanks to The Lets Chat hub, Willow Gardens, the Leisure Centre, South Staffs Water Community Hub and Vets4Pets West Bromwich for allowing us to set up donation points, its been a great help.

If you are attending our event tomorrow please be aware we have a limited amount of gift bags and presents so, although we are advertising 10am til 3pm, if the stock goes we will close up early.

We are all set up now for our Christmas event tomorrow.

Come along to the Lets Chat Hub Communuty Space by stand D/E in West Bromwich Bus Station and collect free dog/cat christmas meals plus a present for your pet.

We also have a cat and dog hamper to win as well as a bric a brac stall and table with pet accessories for a reduced price.

Pop along and meet our volunteers and grab your bag between 10am and 3pm

Lots of donations today. Recieved some toys, accessories and food from a lovely lady who popped into the hub, also Helen Colledge Samuels collected donations from Vets4Pets West Bromwich and West Bromwich Leisure Centre. Thank you to everyone who has dropped items off to us recently. You are so kind ❤️

A few more pet packages handed out over the past week. Yesterday we helped a lovely man struggling to feed his cat due to health issues, and today we supported a local lady whos having financial issues while off sick, so we have made sure her dog and 3 cats are fed ❤️

Some details about our Christmas event.....we will be in the community space of the Lets Chat Hub in West Bromwich Bus Station Saturday 21st between 10am - 3pm.

Obviously we are working with donations, so the pet food give away will be limited to a maximum of 2 bags per pet type. So unfortunately if you have 5 cats and 7 dogs the most we will give you is two cat gift bags, and 2 dog gift bags, plus 1 dog and cat present.

I hope you understand why we are doing this, we will have a limited amount of stock to use and we want to make sure everyone who comes along gets to take something away with them. People are welcome to pop back towards the end of the event, and if we have some stock left over we will try to give more if needed.

We will also have a pet pantry sale with some bric a brac and pet items at a reduced cost.

Wow, wow, wow!!! Its only been little over a week since we last collected from Vets4Pets West Bromwich and today we have recieved all these donations too!!! Thank you so much to our amazing community for donating, you are awesome 😃

Today ive had a lovely short interview with Capital Radio who will be advertising our christmas event on the radio on the 21st and promoting our services, so be prepared for west brom accent!!! 🤣🤣

Trying to run the pet pantry from home is hard enough space wise, and its made slightly hard when your own dog is refusng to leave your side just incse one stray biscuit falls while im bagging them up!!!! I wouldnt mind but hes fed more than enough already!! 🤣🤣

So this is currently my home life.....making up gift bags for cats, to hand out at our Christmas event on 21st!!!

Each bag will have 2 sachets of food, a small bag of dry food, treats and a chistmas card plus each cat gets a wrapped present.

We will be doing some bags up for kittens too 😍

Then next week its on to the dog gift bags, really need a bigger house

I would like to thank again all the clients and our supporters who donated into Vets4Pets West Bromwich over the past few weeks, we have collected items today and its overwhelming how much support we are getting!!! You are amazing!!!

Kellie Thomas has given out a few donations to referrals last week, the hub recieved a referral for a lady with 3 cats who was struggling on benefits and then today myself and Helen Colledge Samuels took a donation to a lady suffering debt problems who owns a husky and elderly cat.

Your donations really help to keep these people and their pets together, and stops clients choosing betweeen feeding themselves or their animals.

We are also setting up pet parcels for our Christmas event on the 21st so all these donations really help xx

We are now a donation drop-off point for Bromwich Emergency Pet Pantry so any items such as dog & cat food, collars & leads, toys, & bedding can be brought into our practice, to be passed onto them. There is a basket on reception that you can leave donations in, or you can pass them directly over to our receptionists. You can also send deliveries, such as Amazon deliveries, directly to us.

We had the pleasure of seeing Emma again today who popped in some kitten food that she had forgot to bring. Emma has been a massive help supporting the Pantry with lots of donations. Shes a little shy and didnt want her picture taken, so shes sent a pic of her gorgeous cat Buffy. Thank you Emma and Buffy for all you help ❤️ xx

Well after a few days off i returned to work to be greeted by this.....

Thank you so much Emma for all your support and helping towards our christmas project. It bought tears to my eyes this morning. What a wonderful generous human you are, and all the pets in Sandwell will have a lovely christmas now thanks to you xx ❤️❤️❤️
