Sorry for the silence of late, had a gap in the diary so took a much needed holiday. Unfortunately I've come home with a couple of lurgies including conjunctivitis so causing a bit of a delay in getting to meet my newbies. Promise I'll be in touch soon to arrange meet ups with the pups.

For now, I'm off to bathe my eyes several times a day to get rid of this 😬

Many of you will know that our darling baby River has been struggling with complex epilepsy. We have been trying to find the right treatment dose for her but unfortunately after a series of significant seizures this morning we have had to say goodbye 💔😢

River was an absolute hurricane of a dog. Incredibly talented in all areas of field trials. Loving. Kind. Gentle. Clumsy. Fearless.

Our house seems very quiet. She’s not bringing me any random presents anymore, regular offerings included shoes, planters, socks, toys or a random gardening glove.

She loved food, fireworks, jumping through long grass and her toy fox was a firm favourite too. I’m pleased she cuddled that until the end.

Her relationship with Maggie was very entertaining, we nicknamed them Pinky & The Brain (some may remember that cartoon). I wonder who Maggie will try and get to raid the bin for her now. I’m going to miss hearing the bin lid going every two minutes and me shouting “Get out the bloody bin” several times a day.

She was a firm favourite at markets too, although she nearly took out everyone’s stalls.

River, I am sure Glen will keep you right my darling. Until we meet again 🤍🕊️🌈

Sorry for the quietness. No beauties to share at the moment due to trying to fit in some adventures for myself before the spring and summer seasons kick off and I am basking in the love of all the dogs!

Got a few introduction visits to organise for the newest recruits to The Pooch Stays which I am hoping to organise over the coming weeks. If anyone is worried Ive forgot their babies, please do not hesitate to message me. Mass of messages will hopefully be out this weekend with options

Aw my wee mee moo ❤️

Nothing stops this girl....apart from her need to sleep often 🤣

Cannot wait for her next stay as she is the cuddliest wee dog who despite being blind can ALWAYS find your bladder to jump on in the mornings to make you move

A wee intro to Millie:

Millie was born blind and no one really wanted to take her on. I fell in love immediately. She is a shih tzu and despite being blind she gives the best huffy sighs and side eye. Nothing stops her, she storms around like a bad bitch and keeps the other two in line.

She loves food, sleeping, hotel stays and barking at plant pots.
She hates having to wait for dinner, the rain, being woken up (same girl, same).

Massive shout out to Vicki Bell’s Short Bark & Sides for looking after her and making her look so gorgeous. I cannot recommend Vicki enough. She is so loving and kind, especially with dogs with some additional needs. Thanks Vicki 🫶 xx
