These are custom order saddles that can be made on a tree to suit your horse.

My saddle slips why ?

Your saddle is not a magic wand. If your horse is a barrel shaped, and there is a bit of asymmetry in the horse or rider or if your horse has a short back, asymmetry is much more likely to show up and that shows up in the form of Saddle slip to one side, your saddle isn’t necessarily to blame. Instead, get your saddle fitter to check it’s ok and if it’s ok, work on making you and the horse straighter so there is less unevenness. This can be done with groundwork for the horse and chiropractor, if required . For the rider there are many YouTube videos on body straightness , most human asymmetrical issue in the body that are not injury induced start in the pelvis with unevenness, basic exercises that help with sciatica will help strengthen and straighten your pelvis, palates are also good for this . Along with sleeping symmetrically ! Most very crooked riders sleep in a very crooked position and hold their pelvis crooked while sleeping, no amount of chiropractic treatment will help keep you to get straight if you don't break bad habits.

Anatomical girths and correction pads can help . But if you or your horse is uneven and we pad the issue out with flocking, without addressing the straightness issue especially if it’s rider straightness issues, flocking the saddle to hold the rider straight can is some cases lead to the horse being sore. When its horse straightness issues like arthritis in the horse hocks or an unlevel pelvis which leads to uneven gate, when a horse has one of these issues the rib cage hangs more to one side causing slippage, forcing the saddle to stay straight can lead to lameness or refusal to work.

If you or your horse is uneven, then we can pad/flock/shim saddles to help. But… working on levelling them up is much more beneficial and shimming should be a temporary measure unless the rider or horse has a permanent issue that can’t be resolved, then uneven girthing and regular checks to keep on top of the issues will be needed.
