Hi peps so a lot of you on
Here will know me and a lot will be customers etc and others might not but with darker nights drawing in🙈 and winter fast approaching I would like to share some insight from my view operating tractors etc around the lanes of Puxton/Banwell etc to hopefully help you guys to help yourselves as it were.

I’m talking mainly in regards to helping yourselves to been seen and the massive benefits of hi vis for you and your 🐎

Like cars and lorries tractors also have some big blind spots and it’s so easy to lose a car let alone a horse and rider in these blind spots behind mirrors/loaders/exhausts /trailer etc. and a glimpse hi vis from the edge of a blind spot can be the difference between me seeing you or not sometimes.

The hi vis a lot of riders in the area use helps us as tractor operators to see you in advance and I’ve often caught a glimpse of yellow or pink over a hedge some ways in front of me and known there was a rider or hazards ahead.

Sure most would agree that I try to be very careful and curtiois with all riders (especially as lots are customers 😂) if I know your there.

hi vis can. Make massive difference I think to your riding experience but have noticed a lot of riders around of late without any im not looking to
Blame anyone just trying to educate from my perspective how’s much difference this makes to me spotting you guys earlier and easily and the knock on benifits for your safety
