This pony 🌟 first time in a double to get ready for showing over the next few weeks. Getting stronger every ride. I just love his attitude to work, I wish I could keep this one 🥰
Jack chucked in the deep end this evening. Green but so willing to give it all a go and well he definitely has scope 🤩
You don’t get much better 3 year olds than this. Bombproof, talented and a pleasure to have on the yard. I’m exciting to see her progress over the next few months 🤩
Introducing the gorgeous Lenny, 4 year old registered New Forest gelding. He’s a pleasure to have on the yard and proving to be nice and quiet to ride, not fazed by anything. Here is a video of what he’s been up to this weekend. Keep your eyes peeled for this one, he will be out competing over the next few weeks. Will no doubt be a superstar pony club pony in the not too distant future 👀 🐎
Percy is potentially looking for a new 🏡 before I turn him away for a couple of months. He is 13.3hh expected to make 14hh+
3 year old Welsh D gelding.
Very exciting competition prospect, movement to die for and a very sweet temperament.
Slowly and correctly backed and is hacking out alone and in company on roads and tracks. Never been in a school.
Not a novice ride due to his age and ability. Ready to be produced further with the potential to aim towards the young pony classes next year.
Serious enquires only, this is a top class pony with an exciting future ahead of him 🤩
First set of shoes for Misty and a trim for Walter tonight. Both very well behaved. Thank you Jack Fussell Farrier Services DWCF for squeezing us in before your holiday 🥰🐎
Introducing the newbies. Misty, the grey, 4 year old Irish cob cross Connemara. And Walter, the gorgeous cob. Both have settled in well and are enjoying their work 😍🐎
This pony is worth his weight in gold, you can do anything with him. He was out winning dressage last weekend and being treated like a proper pony today. Will be looking for a new home in the next few weeks 🥰
On Friday night, Rupert went to his first arena hire. Loaded and travelled amazingly. Walked into a school with big scary jumps with lots of fillers and didn't look at anything. I don't think you could get a nicer natured pony if you tried. We had a nice walk, trot and canter and went over some poles. All just about going forward this week in a nice rhythm. Will be starting to ask him to come a little rounder into an outline whilst hacking over the next week 🥰🤩
A nice Sunday hack up the road for Rupert today. Stood by the mounting block for me to get on and hacked out of the yard by himself happy as Larry. I think he enjoyed himself. We also practiced getting on and off half way through where he again stood like a rock 🌟🐎🥰
Clipping day for Ozzy today and he was good as gold. Then we went for a hack where we met a hedge cutter and slurry tanker and he was such a superstar. He has been learning some leg yield when out on the roads this week and he's a such a quick learner. I'm excited to get him out and about over the next few weeks 🥰
So nice to see Diesel strutting his stuff at his first show under saddle today just a week after going home. He behaved amazingly and coped with the atmosphere. Was lovely to see him, you're doing an amazing job with him Elysia New. A superstar in the making for sure 🌟
Diesel went back home at the weekend. He was here for a few weeks schooling and to get out and see the world. He was backed beautifully before coming to me so was ready to get out and about. Over the last few weeks he learnt how to stand patiently to be mounted, how to hack alone on the roads, how to school in an open field. Being based on a working farm meant he also got to meet farm machinery, cows and sheep. I'm looking forward to following his progress, he definitely has a bright future ahead of him.
I am now taking bookings for January so don't hesitate to get in touch.
