Cracking weekend at the annual christmas calf show at Shrewsbury

Taking 4 calves all sired by Hoghton view Jackaroo kept us pretty busy, but the day couldn't have started any better with our pair of heifers winning their class.

Our Feb born bull Beca 1 Bonanza did brilliantly in his seriously strong class of Jan/Feb bulls come 3rd

Then our Jan born heifer Beca 1 Toffee Bonoffee came 4th in her class, Toffee had been catching the eye of many spectators during the weekend!

Massive congratulations to everyone at the show with quality calves throughout every class 👏

We had a great selection of strong bulls and heifers all sired by Jackroo available on farm, please enquire if you want any more information 😀

Congratulations to the Hean Castle Estate on a very successful dispersal sale today. The quality and the turnout of the cattle was incredible and a credit to them.

We were delighted to come home with two new additions. One in calf heifer from the well known Plover family and also an autumn born calf from the Diadem family.

Looking forward to watching them grow on and introduce new genetics into our herd next spring.

Cracking day out at the Pembrokeshire County show

We took a small team of two yearling heifers to the show this year, the first time out this year for both heifers. Coming home with a 2nd and a 3rd in a strong class of yearling heifers, then going on the win the hereford pairs class and one of our heifers being picked into the team of 5! Great day all round 🙌 😀

Calving in full flow currently.... Another lovely bull calf sired by Jackroo last night

Calving 2024 has started, and what a way to start.... A sweet little heifer, sired by Hoghton View Jackaroo, out of a 24 month old heifer Beca 1 Toffee Wispa, who is a full sister to our young bull Beca 1 Alexander recently purchased by Kinglee Poll Herefords Hope they all come like this 🙏 ❤️
