Some people ask me why I don't open a salon.
This is why...
I love to spend time with both my clients and the dogs.
I get to see them play and come back for fuss after in their own environment.
I'm so lucky to have lovely customers.

Ok, so i am missing all of you and i am so so sorry i cant come to groom your babies right now. However, i have had a dabble with modern technology, which im not great at and created this video for you all.
Im sorry if i missed some of you. But i cant always catch a good shot of our furry william worms.
So from me to you...π€π enjoy this rustic video with missing heads and try to figure out which ones are your babies.
There are lots of wire sausages because i have a fair few of them.
Where is the ketchup when you need it.
I hope you are all safe and well, and will remain so. I look forward to seeing you. πΎπβ€ #dogsoffaversham #dogsofwhitstable #dogsofcanterbury #dogsofsittingbourne #dogsofinstagram
This ones on nails. I dont advise if your baby is too wriggly, or if you are a nervous, anxious type and they will pick up on it and could make them difficult for groomers to do their nails in the future. Keep an eye on the dew claws which are on the insides of the front legs and some dogs have them on the insides of their back legs. They can wind round and pierce the pad. If this happens and we are still in lockdown you will need to contact your vet.
But if you want to try and keep on tops of them. Since road walking is limited now, once a week just tip them. Or do one nail a day.
Please be careful. Stay safe. ###
Just some guidance on how to brush your babies during this time.
If you want to bath them make sure you dilute the shampoo and rinse them thoroughly. And dry and brush them. If left to dry natural this can create matts/knots.
Be aware when brushing most people go to stroke them behind the esrs and the neck or where the harness sits tend to get knotty. So if you can remove them at night as it will help keep matting down to a minimum.
I hope this helps. Stay safe ###
Been to Leicester this week to teach scissor technique and how to style a Bouvier des Flandres head. Much fun had whilst teaching Robyn. And this gorgeous boy was so well behaved and made a perfect training dog. π©ππΎπ
Grooming can be very relaxing. This gorgeous boy falling asleep whilst being groomed. Bit ticklish feet though Auntie Tina!!
Such a good boy. Love him. Little Ernie. β€πΎπ#doglovers #dogs #dogsofinstagram #professionaldoggroomer #MobileDogGroomerWhitstable #wirehaireddachshund #handstripping
Fleas fleas fleas are on the rampage folks. Check what you are using, they are getting immune to some products so be sure to speak with your vet about best available treatments.
Once you get them they are a menace to get rid of.
There is a house spray which treats fleas bedbugs and mites which you can spray car, bedding and house which is good once a year to go over the house. Available at the vets. Dont let the blood suckers best you. ππ€
