We are getting low on feed tubs! We use empty Swedish glacé tubs to put visitor feeds in. If you have any spare, please drop them off to us. OR you can drop to Balance Wholefoods in Maghull (who also sell them 🤤, amongst many many other vegan goodies) and we will collect from there 🙏

Our Small but Mighty Podge had a little incident yesterday - she knocked one of her horns off! 😢 It’s not uncommon for goats, and she’ll be absolutely fine. It was obviously painful for her, so I did minimal cleaning up so as not to touch it. She just wanted to eat her food!
Typically of our little diva, she reacts badly to metacam (which is the go-to painkiller for goats), so I had to get the vet to prescribe something else.

She’s been amusing us this week, wearing wool on her head 😂, so that’s worth showing too!

Shearing went brilliantly this year! We finished it on Thursday last week, but I’ve only just recovered from exhaustion 😩 It was the chasing and penning them that was the hardest bit, and we even had the talented Meg 🐶 to help. She was amazing, as always 😍

When we popped by to collect the vaccine this week, we also got to meet this absolute legend — isn’t he a vibe? 😄🐏
Friendly, full of character, and totally photogenic… we’re a little bit in love.
