"I'm Not a Pandacow" is a delightful children's book written by M.T. Sanders and illustrated by Rebecca Sharp. Here's an overview based on available information:

- Plot: The story follows Monty, a large Newfoundland puppy, as he embarks on a journey to discover what kind of dog he is. Monty, teased by other dogs who call him a "Pandacow" due to his unique appearance, sets out to find his true identity by asking various dogs he meets. The narrative is engaging and humorous, with Monty's adventures providing both entertainment and a subtle lesson on self-acceptance and identity.

- Characters:
- Monty: The protagonist, a Newfoundland dog with a passion for writing, poetry, and blogging, which he shares with his "hoomans."
- Other Dogs: Various dogs Monty meets on his journey, each offering a humorous or misguided guess about his breed.

- Themes: The book touches on themes of identity, self-discovery, and acceptance, all wrapped in a fun and light-hearted story suitable for young readers.

- Reception: The book has been well-received, noted for its engaging storytelling and the vibrant, full-page illustrations which bring the story to life. Reviews highlight its appeal to both children and adults, especially those who love dogs or are involved in dog-related activities.

- Author and Illustrator: M.T. Sanders, the author, has a background in writing and blogging about his dogs, which led to this series. Rebecca Sharp provides the illustrations, adding a visual charm that complements the story.

- Series: "I'm Not a Pandacow" is the first in a series of books about Monty's adventures, including others like "Monty and the Ocean Rescue" and "Monty and the Poppit Dragon," indicating its popularity and the expansion of Monty's world.

- Educational Value: Apart from entertainment, the book offers educational value in teaching children about different dog breeds, the importance of kindness, and not judging others based on appearance.

With the cost of living and the constant rise in postage costs, more and more people each year are choosing to donate to Charities instead of sending Christmas Cards. By donating the amount of money you would normally spend on cards and postage to Charity, you are not only giving money to a good cause but you will also be helping to prevent some of the 1 billion Christmas cards that end up in landfills each festive season.

Please consider donating to The Monty Project

We are so proud of Bandit. He was so calm and gentle and there were lots of smiles when they go to stroke him, which is all they wanted to do by the way. The children are given journals for the sessions and on one of the pages was a question about Bandit. For the question 'What do you like about Bandit?' One little lad said simply 'I love him'

Well I'm sure by now everyone knows we've had a pretty rubbish year. Losing Cookie and now the 'houseonwheelsinwales'. We're not alone though and we know many folk have been though similar and worse.
In our work we see lots of instances of children and young people going through awful times and I have to say it does make your problems pale into insignificance. Tomorrow we are back in the midlands visiting children as part of a programme run by Fireworks. One of the groups have suffered bereavement, which is particularly tough when they are so young, but one thing I know is that tomorrow they will have smiling faces when they get to see Bandit again. Through your generosity we will taking presents of books down for all of them.
Katy and her team at Fireworks do amazing work with children and young people in their community and we're really happy to support them when we can.
In the new year we aim to get our own projects running more regularly to replicate this great work into other areas.
Thank you to everyone who supports us be that financially or by commenting on and sharing our posts. We really can't do anything without you.

Finding different ways to raise funds for the Monty Project is quite difficult, but without your support we couldn't do what we do, which is helping to support children. More information can be found about our work, on the Monty Project website. Please click the link and take a look. After Christmas we are thinking about running an Auction 😁 to do this we are going to need items to Auction. I already have a few things myself I can pop in and Sharon Robson kindly sent us some new/nearly new dog leads etc that we can put in, so we have a bit of a start already, but we are going to need more. We are looking for new or nearly new items for the Auction, can you HELP? After Christmas is the perfect time to have a sort out, plus you may have received gifts that are unsuitable or you are unable to use, and what better way to repay the kindness than to re-gift the item to help raise funds for The Monty Project

We are The Monty Project a children's charity supporting mental health and education through our school visits with our dogs and books.

A day in the life of Bandito. Today he has a school visit near Wolverhampton.
Up and out for a short walk and toilet at 5.45 back at 6.00am
A short rest before breakfast at 6.15
Now lots of rest before leaving at 8.00am for the 2 hour journey to the school leaving plenty of time for motorway hold ups, which are regular. Arrive at the school hopefully for 10.am and then a nice walk in a place we've already scoped out.
Luckily today the school is right on the edge of Cannock chase which is beautiful and will give him lots of chances to meet new friends.
Back to the school for 10.45 to get booked in and of course say hello to everyone on the way through.
Into the hall for about 10.55
11.00 first of three short assemblies with Q and A and of course a chance to say hello to everyone again.
1.pm short walk and toilet break before back in the car and the journey home.
3.pm Back for dinner and sleep
5pm Last walk of the day and more sleep.

This is him right now obviously preparing for his busy day.
