Just before the end of today's early shift PD Jura was called to assist locate a high risk missing person.

Information was received that the person had a rope and was going to harm themselves. The persons vehicle was located by an RPU mobile on the edge of an isolated area of woodlands and fields. It was getting dark and very foggy so it became time critical to locate the person.

On arrival tracking initially proved unlikely due to members of the public walking dogs nearby. However this didn't stop PD Jura who picked up a track and led his handler down a overgrown pathway into woodland for quite some distance before locating the person high up in a tree.

Once joined by other officers they managed to talk the person down to get the help they required. 👏

This afternoon PD Jura assisted in the City with a male who had ran from officers. 👮

Luckily PD Jura was only a few minutes away and began a search of the surrounding area. Within a few minutes of searching the male was sighted garden hopping and eventually ended up in a garden very close to PD Jura.

The male decided not to stop despite seeing 👮 🐶 and carried on garden hopping and was quickly detained by PD Jura 🦈

The male was wanted for stalking offences and recall to prison 👏

This evening officers from the RPU sighted a vehicle on cloned plates that subsequently failed to stop and rammed one of our RPU vehicles. 🚔

Not long after the vehicle was abandoned a distance away and the occupants made off. One of the occupants was observed by PD Jura's chauffeur trying to leave the area on foot and with the help of PD Jura he quickly decided against that option. 🐶 👍

PD Jura then completed a search of the surrounding area locating evidence 🔍 that will be very helpful to the investigation. 👏

Earlier on today RPU officers had a fail to stop in the city with a car, that resulted in the driver decamping and running off 🏃 Officers have given chase but lost sight on a residential street. Nash has attended and started to search gardens. With some help from an eagle eyed ARV officer who spotted some discarded clothing, the team have managed to narrow the search down to a couple of gardens.

Nash has continued to search and pulled his handler toward an outside toilet where he located the suspect sat on the throne 🚽🤣 The male was challenged by Nash and he decided to comply. He has been arrested for fail to stop and disqual driving 🚗

Yesterday a male entered a shop in the city and made threats with a knife to kill the people present, before making off on foot🏃‍♂️.

The male was seen to enter some woodland a short time later so PD Nash has deployed to this area. Nash was tasked to search the woodland and has quickly located the suspect laying down in the undergrowth and trying to hide 🤣

The suspect has then been challenged by Nash, at which point he has surrendered himself and was arrested. The male was found to be in possession of an offensive weapon and was also wanted on warrant.

So today Zyla has gone for a trial with Leicestershire police I want to say a hard decision but she deserves this job with her working ball crazy nature and busy brain. So it was a easy yes try her . Time will tell over the next few weeks have fun lady 👮🏼‍♂️🚔🚓 I’m sure she will match up like the boys the first girlie off too 🥳🥰 Barney baby off to work
