Did you know, hay is just as important for guineapigs, as it is for rabbits?
Ozzy, in the video, loves his hay.
It’s often some guineapigs come here who eat little too no hay as it’s not something their used too. Whilst here, they do grow to love their hay. This is no hate to any of the guardians, sadly, I’ve seen too many misconceptions myself and it can be a minefield trying to get the right information.
Good quality hay is a must, just like it is for rabbits. Variety is also important. It’s super important for their gut and dental health.

Princess (the Dutch bunny) has been so overlooked by so many, so we were so happy when we found out they had been adopted.
For me, dog walks are one of my favourite services. I love everything I offer but being able to explore new areas, see new wildlife, meet new dogs and the smell of the countryside air.

We love having bunnies stay for their holidays, buts it’s a real compliment when people return again and again.
We have extremely limited space for indoor boarding and highly advise anyone interested in indoor boarding for 2024 to please book now.

2024 is fast approaching and here’s a few things we have planned ready for action!.
Times: the times for drop off/pick up is changing, no set times yet so make sure to check before booking
Bookings:
Pet sitting - 50% deposits, rest due on the day of the sit starting
Boarding - 25% deposit 3 days after paperwork sent, further 25% due 2 weeks before stay, rest paid on the day they come
Bonding - £35 deposit, remainder of payment due on the day they leave
Dog walking - each walk payment is due before the walk or if weekly, due on the Monday
Grooming - 50% deposit, rest paid on the day
As always, no deposit means no secure spot. This means if someone else pays before you, they do get the spot. This stops no shows
Extras:
We will be adding “extras” for all bookings, this includes things such as baths after walks, extra blankets etc.
Boarding:
As of 2024, we will only be accepting budgies, canaries, lovebirds, parakeets and finches under the “birds” section of boarding. We no longer have the facilities to accommodate for large species of birds. We will be building a new facility just for guineapigs to enjoy their holidays here (sadly won’t be big enough for bunnies but don’t worry, we already have an incredible 60+ sqft space for them).
Increases:
Sadly we will be increasing a few of our prices for some things. We didn’t want to do this but with everything doubling in price over the last year, our current costs haven’t been feasible long term sadly😞.

Jerry from Fluffy Foster Buns and Patrick are both here for bonding in hopes they’ll be a good match.
I mean, they had just entered the pen in this video and Jerry rushed over to Patrick to say his hello and start grooming.
I’m pleased to say these 4 are going really well. We’ve had a some humping, a bit of nipping and at the very start a little bit of fur pulling. They now snuggle up and groom each other.
Their mum is so excited for them to return and is so pleased with their progress.

Last night the buns enjoyed some lovely freshly picked apple leaves and stick from our very own garden!.
Natural enrichment such as apple branches are super important and so delicious. The sticks can help with keeping their teeth short and also provides fibre for them, not to mention it’s free and enriching for them!.
They can be scattered, hung up or hidden!
The biggest worry for pet guardians is providing enrichment that won’t cost the earth. Enrichment can be simple and cheap and be just as beneficial for them!. We love supporting small businesses and offer a huge variety of enrichment but if you ever find yourself worrying financially, toilet tubes, sticks and wild forage (please ensure it’s safe, throughly washed and non-toxic), herbs, dig boxes and so on are all incredibly useful and doesn’t necessarily cost a penny to make or use.

Enrichment doesn’t have or need to be expensive or extravagant, as long as it gets their brains working you’ll have happy bunnies.
