We can personally vouch for Sarah.

She is excellent and all of her training methods are positive. Having personally met and interacted with her own dogs, you can truly see just how amazing her work and skills really are.
She’s helped me with my own rescue Bessie over the years. She’s worth her weight in GOLD.

She’s truly a one in a million trainer, please check out her page/website if your needing help with your pooch

At Stockbridge Canine School, I believe in reward-based training that delivers results. Sarah is an IMDT accredited and experienced trainer, dedicated to helping you build a strong bond with your dog through positive and kind reinforcement techniques.

Warning: lengthy post incoming but please do read.

For 2025, we are updating our Terms and Conditions for our pet sitting and dog walking services

This means anyone who would like to use us (new or old) will have a new set of T&C’s to sign.
They only have to be signed once and are active for as long as you choose to use our services.
Some will stay the same.

We understand paperwork can be lengthy and time consuming, so we are putting this post out now to let everyone know. T&C’s aren’t negotiable and do need to be signed for us to go ahead with any services.

Thankyou for your understanding and patience
WRR Pet Services team 😊

Flora, Fauna, Willow and Merryweather

Don’t worry, they aren’t staying in this, this was just their travel cage and the only photo we have of them all together as they’re all busy exploring at the moment.

Here’s our price list for 2025.
This is effective from 01/01/2025

Any booking made before this date will be honoured at our current prices, but any booking made on or after this date will be at the new pricing.

We have removed some of our old services and only a few of the services have had price increases. It’s not something we wanted to do, but sadly our bills have doubled, some even tripled in cost this March/April and we haven’t had a price increase since 2023. Please be kind, everyone is struggling in these times.

This is something received from the RWAF themselves on 03/10/2024.

Please do have a read.

As always, vaccines are essential for rabbits for any service. We do not have in person visits. Some agree and love this, but others have their own thoughts. RHD doesn’t discriminate, whether you own rabbits/mice/guineapigs or hamsters you can still carry the virus on your clothes, shoes, etc. Whilst it doesn’t affect species other than hares and rabbits, we have to be mindful of the guests and our own. Biosecurity is the main way to prevent this. Vaccines are considered 60-80% effective in preventing. Because that’s all a vaccine is, a preventative.

Be vigilant, keep up to date, and don’t forget to vaccinate.

Tom, Snowball and Wilbur had their grooms yesterday.

Did you know we offer mobile grooming?
For people who don’t have cars or even struggle to get to us, this is very helpful.

Here’s some important information regarding meet and greets for pet sitting and dog walking.

All meet and greets are done in YOUR home. We will not meet in random location such as the middle of the woods, coffee shops or parks.

We will only offer meet and greets for those who are serious about having a pet sitter/dog walker and those with holiday dates in mind. We cannot offer them for “maybe dates” or “just in case”.

Only the first meet and greet is free. Any extra ones are £15 each. They take up around 2 hours each time and we have to turn away sits, walks and other peoples meet and greets to accommodate them.

We do need to know about potential behavioural issues in advance. We do not discriminate and we are happy to sit for all pets. However, our safety is important, we cannot work at all if we get seriously injured from something that could have been easily prevented.

Long haired rabbits: from fluff ball to maintained.

It’s important to remember that there is nothing natural about lionheads and other long haired rabbits. They were bred for their looks and for some, made into fur coats. Whilst they’re beautiful, they come with so much maintenance.

In the heat especially, they suffer with these extra thick fur coats. Not to mention they’re prone to matting which can in turn lead to bacteria growth, even mould (I have seen first hand, mould spores on matting). It can also make spotting illnesses harder as it can be hidden underneath the fur. Fly strike is also a bigger worry. Their long fur can also mean they cannot see properly which can become stressful for them being prey species.

Whilst she may not look as “desirable” anymore (although I think she’s cute regardless). I believe their welfare comes before looks!. Gracie is currently done every 4 weeks (as that’s how quickly her fur grows back). But for some, you may get away with 6-7 weeks before having to be done again. If Gracie isn’t regularly cut back, she needs a thorough 1-2 hour grooming session twice a day as she is really prone to knots, matts and food/bedding getting stuck otherwise. I think an every 4 week shave is much better welfare wise, than a 2-4 hours of grooming a day!. Grooming can become so stressful for everyone.
