Today we welcomed this beautiful boy into the pack walking life 😆❤️

Major has had a few issues with previous dog walkers and needed someone with a bit more experience. Safe to say, he smashed all of our initial assessments with flying colours. Tomorrow, we’ll test him further with a bigger pack of pouches. I have every bit of faith that he’ll fly through that too ❤️

If all goes to plan, I should be arriving there for 1:30pm and promptly leaving for 1:45pm 🤞🤞. We will walk right across the beach and along the coastline.

Please note, pooches will be present and off lead so only come along if your dog can cope in that environment. Or leave the doggo safe at home and come along anyways 😆

24hr Walk - Saturday 16th November

More information on our 24hr Walk this weekend 😆

Our stopping points will be Beach Road, Hoylake at 1:30pm. We will be leaving promptly for 1:45pm and enjoying a lovely big pack walk across Hoylake Beach, along the coastline and then back.

Our next stop will be at the start of the Wirral Way on Riverbank Road, Lower Heswall at 5:30pm. We will be leaving promptly for 5:45pm and walking along the Wirral Way, across Heswall Gold Course and along the path towards Parkgate. I’ll then continue on towards Neston whilst everyone else can turn back and head home. This walk will be dark so please bring along torches.

Please also note that off lead dogs will be on both of these walks so only come along if your dog is comfortable with other pooches (or leave the dog at home and come along anyways 😄).

I will be posting my full route soon and anyone is more than welcome to tag along at any point.

Here at Quadrant K9, we understand that not all dogs are the same and some dogs need a more personalised approach to their walks. This could be for a number of different reasons but we don’t discriminate and are happy to work with you in order to help your dog get the most out of their walkies. Therefore, we have specifically made our 1-2-1 Solo Walks so they are completely tailor-made to suit you and your four-legged friend. If your dog has behavioural issues, social anxiety or simply needs a top up on their training we are the people to help. All plans and precautions will be discussed prior taking your dog out. Such as on lead walks only, planning our walk to help avoid certain triggers etc. We will accommodate all necessary measures and aim to take your dog out amongst the beautiful places across Wirral and give all dogs an enjoyable, but safe experience.

Zoe is very experienced in helping dogs through reactivity and will be able to bring her years of knowledge and hands on experience to help your pooch get the absolute most out of their walks. Zoe is also fully insured (XL Bully’s included), has a valid DBS check and in-person canine first aid training.

Over the last few weeks we’ve had a lot of things going on in the background, here at Quadrant K9 and finally we’re able announce one of our super exciting new additions.

From October 1st 2024, we have our wonderful Zoe joining the team 😆.

Zoe is the kindest person that I have had the pleasure of calling my friend with for a number of years now. She has a tonne of experience with lots of different animals but mostly with dogs and horses. She has owned dogs her entire life and currently owns three Collies. Koda, Mika and Zinnia. She loves spending her downtime, in the local parks on walks, in her back garden training Obedience or renting the local Agility field and practicing all things, from jumps to climbing the A frame.

She has lots of hands experience with reactivity, social anxiety and behavioural issues. Each of her dogs have worked through their own behavioural issues and with Zoe’s kind and patient approach, they are absolutely smashing it and continue to enjoy their daily life activities. As well as her own hands on experience with dogs, Zoe has also spent the best part of the last year shadowing a local behaviourist to learn new techniques, develop her skills and further help her confidence around all dogs of every different shape, size, breed and temperament.

Her beautifully calm and caring nature is exactly what we need here at Quadrant K9 and we cannot wait to have her officially on board.
