I am devastated to say that beautiful Ruby was layed to rest this morning. She was fighting a battle with cancer which she overcame and has continued to be strong for a very long time. The most sweet gentle girl and i am very lucky to have groomed her. Will miss her loads. Thinking of Rubys family at this difficult time. ❤️

Ozzy the Shih Poo💙 Ozzy was matted very tight to the skin so we had to go nice and short. This is why everyday brushing especially for curly coated wool breeds is sooo important! This type of matting is not brushable and needs clipping to not ease discomfort and stress. Plus clipping compared to brushing takes half the time. Most dogs will not tolerate you brushing a tight matt as it is painful for them. Tight matts pull on the skin and can eventually lead to sores and even lack of blood circulation. Imagine brushing a dreadlock!!! Thats what i compare it to. Rant over, ozzy did very well and is only 1 years old
