⭐️Lead Rein/2nd Pony for Full Loan⭐️

Alyce is a 10.2hh 9yr Black Cob Mare, she was born with us so we know her entire history. She is forward going (but still in a snaffle) so needs a confident rider, loves to jump (described as a pocket rocket) and is very scopey, has done courses of 65cm. She can get strong when jumping. Great on the lead rein, great to hack alone and in company, will go infront or behind, not spooky and good with traffic. She does have sweetitch so needs management for this. Up to date with wormer, vaccinations, dentist, farrier etc. For full loan to not move further than 1hr from Chobham.

💔 LGB IS CLOSING 💔
We are devastated to inform you that we are being forced to close as our landlords have given us notice to leave. They will be renting the yard to someone else.
So LGB Riding School and LGB Equine will be closing late Summer (date to be confirmed).
We are looking for alternative premises to move to but, as yet, there is nothing available.
This does mean we will be looking for amazing homes for our gorgeous horses, we will be advertising some of them over the next couple of weeks however we are happy for anyone to register any interest they have. So, if you are interested in buying one, please email [email protected] with ‘Interested in (pony’s name)’ in the heading.
Some may be available for full loan or share.
As I am sure you can imagine, we have spent 11 years building the business and and we are so proud of our achievements. I say WE, because we are a yard family and everyone at LGB (my daughter, husband, son, mum and dad, staff, instructors, liveries, sharers, loaners, helpers, clients, vet, farrier, dentist and those who have attended our events are all responsible for the success of LGB. We have loved providing lessons and events, meeting all the wonderful clients and helping people start and continue their riding journey.
Understandably we are heartbroken.
We will be holding our last event on the 13th July which will be unaffiliated showjumping with sunshine tour qualifiers and hope to see as many of you there as possible!

One of our gorgeous horses is looking for a new home 🏡
Libby is an 8yrs old 15.2hh welsh d chestnut mare. She enjoys hacking alone and in company, infront or behind, she will also pop a log. She can still be a bit green in the arena and have a buck into canter but hasn’t bucked out hacking. She was on full loan for a year where she went hacking over Windsor great park aswell as doing some dressage. She has done some jumping but would need more work in this area. Libby can be a bit anxious sometimes so needs a confident and competent person she can build trust with. She can sometimes be a pain to catch however she picks and choose when this is as half the time she is good as gold (she will come over but doesn’t particularly always like having the headcollar put on so we leave one on her in the field) but most days will follow you round the field like a puppy. Been out with mares and geldings in herds or pairs. Up to date with wormer, vaccinations, dentist, farrier etc. Has so much potential with the right person happy to put the time in, could also make a great broodmare as has lovely breeding. Has previously passed a riding school vet inspection of eyes, heart and trot up.
Not currently in full work due to time so offered as she is, she is being hacked a couple times a week to keep her ticking over.

⭐️SUNDAY STAFF WANTED⭐️

We are looking for someone to work Sundays for June & July preferably 9-12 then 3:30-5:30 but could also do 9-1. Must be confident handling different types of horses, know how to muck out. Jobs will include feeding, turning out, mucking out, filling waters, making feeds, bringing in.
