Thank you***Wheatlands Farm will be open for arena eventing hire from Monday 23rd December until and including 3rd February '25. There are lots of fences, 50/50 sj and xc, sj can be lowered to poles, xc from 30cm. The arena will be available for hire at £22.50 for 1 or 2 horses for half an hour or £45 for up to 4 horses for 1hour. All riders must wear their body protector and flexible peak hat. Other conditions will apply, please email [email protected] for more information and to book. Disclaimers will need to be returned via email and payments made online so please allow time (4 full days min) for this when choosing your hire date. Please not there will be very limited/no office cover 24th Dec to 2nd Jan so for bookings Monday 23rd-Saturday 28th, please email no later than midnight on Friday 20th December. For bookings 29th Dec to 4th Jan, please email no later than midnight on Thursday 26th December. Thank you.

***Position filled, looking forward to Sam joining the team! ***Job opportunity....Unfortunately Zoe will be leaving us in December to work at her boyfriends garage, Ellie is stepping up into her role so sooner than expected we are again looking to fill the morning role.....Wanted, to join our small friendly team, from, or soon after, Monday 9th December 2024. Working a 2 hour morning shift, Mon- Fri 8-10am (negotiable) to care for the horses here, some stabled, some grass kept, turnout, muck out (usually 1 stable per day), hay, water and other general yard duties. Opportunity for overtime/additional work ad hoc, to help our DIY owners. Weekends off, ssp, 28 paid days holiday per year inc bank holidays. Confident and competent, calm, reliable person, preferably over 18yo. ***Wheatlands Farm is open for XC schooling every day until and including Sunday 22nd September '24. We will be CLOSED FOR THE WINTER FROM MONDAY 23RD SEPTEMBER '24. Camp 2024 with plan B, using the Yard common room and bedding store for kitchen/dining space, lots of fun had and so far great feedback. ***XC Update. Weather permitting, we will be open for schooling from Saturday 4th May until and including Sunday 12th May at £25 per horse, we hope to open 60% of the course - some areas are still too soft, especially following Saturday nights rain. We will then be closed from Monday 13th May to set up for the WPC Hunter Trials on Sunday 19th May. To book please would you email your full name, mobile number, date, preferred start time, number of horses, rider names and coach name if you are bringing one to [email protected]. ***XC Update. The majority of the course has now dried sufficiently for us to do groundcare. We will aim to have the course set out and ready to open on 4th May this will be confirmed early next week. Bookings will not be taken until the opening date is confirmed, I will need to be working in the fields as much as I can, so any emails about booking will not be replied to until then. The XC Will close 13-19th May to prep for the WPC Hunter Trials on 19th May https://branches.pcuk.org/wokingham/. Thanks

Our aim to open the XC on Good Friday is sadly unrealistic this year. Unfortunately the ground is still too soft in places to take the big machines for groundcare before setting the course out. We will update you again as soon as we can and hope that we will be able to open at some point in April.

***Show jumping course hire, related distance, dog legs, two doubles and lots of fillers, will be available at £45 for an hour with up to 4 horses or £22.50 for half an hour with 1 or 2 horses. Jumps can be adjusted to suit your needs, from tiny cross poles upwards.
