New Team Member Required Due to Business Expansion and New Larger Premises. 4 days one week and 3 days the following including Saturdays Possibility of more hours in future. HOWEVER we are looking for the right person so are willing to consider two part time candidates or someone wanting half days providing the half day starts or finishes at that same time as the business on the days specified and if the applicant has the skills required. If you think you have the skills please apply and we will consider you.​

Business Hours are 8.30am - 5.30pm. Monday - Saturday.

Days offered are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday one week then Thursday, Friday and Saturday the following weeks, alternately.

This role requires;

Independent work.
Great team player.
Fantastic customer service.
Ability to confidently lift up to 25kg.
Hard work.
Willingness and eagerness to learn and follow instructions.

The shop can be a fast-paced environment with lots of hard work and heavy lifting involved. Experience in pet care and/or retail is advantageous but training will be given. As an independent shop we pride ourselves on customer service and unique shopping experience.

- Assist customers with their inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Assist in inventory management and restocking of merchandise
- Collaborate with team members

- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

**THE SHOP WILL REMAIN OPEN AS USUAL**

Hiya,

I just wanted to make you aware that as the shop is settled and doing well, we have decided we are going to take the kids to North Norfolk for a week, the last week of this month.

Sorry for the short notice but the new shop was an unknown so we hadn't planned anything.

The last delivery day before we leave will be next Thursday 22nd and we will resume Tuesday 3rd.

If you would like a delivery, just let us know, and I will get you pencilled in.

The shop will still be open as usual and there is onsite free parking if you would rather collect.

Please let us know whichever makes your life easier. We don't want to put anyone out.

Last night , we were left a negative review on Google, which lowered our rating and the impression that customers who haven't used us before first see. This can have a massive impact on a small business.

We welcome your reviews and feedback however please make sure it is fair. I won't go into details as the review and my reply are there for all to see.

However I would ask that if you are thinking of leaving a negative review in the future, how about asking to speak to Mike or I first to see if we can help or justify our stance before you potentially damage a small business so negatively.

Sorry for the negative post everyone, but the whole team is very upset.

New Beds Alert!!

A really nice guy called Gary drove up to see us yesterday with a huge van full of gorgeous UK design and made pet beds.

They are all made with end of line Next and DFS fabric and have such good fillings of orthopedic foam or hollow fibre. I think they are the best filling density we have ever had. Also they are a really sensible price!!

🎉1 MONTH or 14 YEARS Anniversary!!🎉

14 years ago yesterday, we took over Framlingham Pet Shop, and One month yesterday, we moved to our biggest premises. - Unit C2 Charnwood Industrial Estate, Pepperwash Lane, Framlingham IP13 9PT

We just wanted to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us;

Despite giving out nearly 2000 flyers to customers in the shop, we are still daily getting people who aren't aware we are moving premises as of 1ST JULY.

As of the 1st July, you will find us up the road on the Charnwood Industrial Estate in much bigger premises, with onsite parking and all our stock in one place!!

We can't wait to see you there, please tell EVERYONE!!

It is with the permission of his family that we write this post in memory of Billy Ablett.

Our wonderful friendship began nearly 13 years ago as we inherited Billy when we bought the shop. To start with I don't think he was convinced by our ways and on more than a few occasions I thought I have irritated him so much by changing the way things were done that he may not stick with us. Luckily for us he did stick around because our lives were definitely a better for having known him.

I could speak for hours of all the incredible memories we have of him. His knowledge of the world was fantastic and green fingers were legendary locally. Every year we were privileged with selling his runner beans for him "Billy's Beans are Best ". He treated our children like his own grandchildren and on countless occasions he navigated Maddie and I around the back roads of Suffolk on deliveries, we would call him our "BillyNav" as his knowledge of the roads and local farms was second to none. Often he also went out for a ride on deliveries with Mike and they would spend hours talking about farming and the countryside. His weighing up ability in the shop was faultess and his support and friendship were a privilege. I've said it time and time again but it never lessens that our lives have genuinely been made better by knowing someone as wonderful and wholesome as Billy.

Thank you Billy for your guidance, friendship, wicked sense of humour and love. We miss you terribly, think of you often and love you always ###xx

So forgive that there is no key cutting or engraving today as Mike, Brooke and I attend the service to remember Billy. Sal and Claire will be hold the fort at the shop.
