This weekend Harry sadly passed over the rainbow bridge it was strange without him today 💕 .. what a pleasure it was to have him as one of my first members.. lots of adventures to remember RIP LITTLE MAN 🦮🐶🌈

Due to my clients circumstances changing This week I had my last walk with Dennis, Ted & Frosty also lovingly known to me as Dennis the Mennis, Teddybear & Frosty the Snowman 💕
I have been walking them 5 days a week for 15 months so I’m really going to miss them 😞

The Dog House prides itself on being different to other day care providers. Our team take the time to get to know your dog as an individual, and carefully select playmates who they will get along with - you won't find us bundling all of your dogs in together to see what happens 🤣

Your dog doesn't want to make new friends? That's fine too! Your dog will be taken out alone if that's their preference.

Our building is temperature-controlled throughout, and we also have an indoor playroom available!

What started out as a lovely frosty walk with Dotty ended with my heart rate going through the roof .

I hadn’t noticed the cows in the field and we were only half way when the herd started running towards us before we got to the style they were all around us. Thankfully there was still a clear passage towards the style.

What I did;
* I picked Dotty up
*I walked calmly to the style
*I spoke to the cows just saying whoa whoa

For the rest of the walk I contemplated what is the right thing to do in that scenario?

This is guidance from the RSPCA;

*FIND an alternative footpath where possible
*ALWAYS have your dog on the lead in a cattle field
*NEVER run always walk calmly, if you run this May encourage the cows to chase you and believe it or not they can run faster than humans
*If confident look at the cows and start clapping and shouting this should be sufficient for them to move away

REMEMBER - COWS ARE INQUISITIVE ANIMALS AND ARE PROBABLY JUST BEING NOSEY

What a lovely day for a walk up the Malverns yesterday 🫶🏼
A perk of being my own boss is I can be a bit more flexible and take time to spend with family doing things we love.

On the flip side if I’m not working I don’t get paid which is hard to manage sometimes ☹️

A lot of people have asked recently how my business is going so This post is just about being upfront and honest as it may look on here that I’m just having fun with dogs out in nature having a lovely time every day (which I am the majority of the time ) however there are also times when running your own business does come with its own stresses just like every job .

I have a quiet day today again so time for some admin 💻📒 whilst trying not to get worried about having a quieter day 🤦🏻‍♀️

Final walk of the week with Dennis Ted Frosty & Delilah 🦮
I have walked these 4 doggo’s for over 1 year now 😊
It has been a delight getting to know them and their individual personalities 🐶
They all get along so well and it’s always a pleasure to take them out as a foursome 🫶🏼
I hope you also have some lovely dog walks over the weekend.
