🎉 Celebrating 3 Full-Time Years in Pet Care! 🐾

Today marks three years since I officially stepped into full-time pet care, and what an incredible journey it has been. Although I’d cared for many wonderful dogs and cats before then, this day three years ago was when I welcomed my first daily animal and turned my passion into a full-time business.

Since then, I’ve experienced unforgettable wins, a few heartbreaking losses, and countless moments that have reminded me how lucky I am to do what I do. Working outdoors, nurturing amazing animals, and creating memories with them every single day is a privilege I never take for granted.

To everyone who has trusted me with their beloved pets: thank you. Over the years, I’ve had the honour of caring for more than 100 pets of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I truly feel like the luckiest woman in the world to call this my day-to-day.

Here’s to many more years of wagging tails, muddy paws, and adventures! 💙🐾

I am on a learning mission at the moment. A few of my pack have or have had cancer so I wanted to increase my understanding of what it involves, how best to support the animal and their owners.

Cancer is very close to my heart (human and animal) so it was very interesting learning more about this awful illness.

I have a Winter Toxin seminar tomorrow then who knows what I am going to learn next! 💙🐾

❄️ WINTER EDITION: When Is It Too Cold for Your Dog? ❄️

It was –2°C this morning, delightful, so my dogs and I sensibly chose some indoor enrichment before a much shorter outdoor walk. Because, shocker, dogs also get cold.

A few quick reminders for winter walks:

🧥 Yes, your dog needs a coat
Short-haired, small, senior, or puppy? They’re basically wearing summer clothes in Arctic conditions.

🐾 Keep walks shorter
If you wouldn’t stand outside in that temperature for half an hour, your dog probably shouldn’t either.

🧊 Grit & ice are not paw-friendly
Rinse and dry paws unless you fancy cracked pads and vet bills.

🚫 Avoid frozen ponds
They’re slippery, dangerous, and not nearly as solid as your dog thinks.

✨ Know the signs of “too cold”
Shivering, slowing, paw lifting, or giving you the “take me home” look.

Stay safe, stay warm, and let’s get our dogs through winter without frostbite or drama. 🐾❄️

I have spent my evening learning all about spotting common illnesses in Dogs and Emergencies. It was so informative, as a Dog Walker, we know your dogs so well, we know their lumps and bumps, their quirks and differences, so we are also pretty well placed to spot things that are out of the ordinary when we are spending time with your dogs.

I have just signed up to the Winter Toxin one on Thursday! 💙🐾

Everyone say hello to Bonnie!

Bonnie is a gorgeous girl who has been looked after so well by her previous walker so it was an honour to be trusted with her and continue the good work! She is a little fearful and not a fan of walks but she trotted out with me on her first walk today like we had been doing it for years! So proud of her and happy to have her as part of my pack 💙🐾
