I thought I'd do a post of what I do in this heat - obviously for the dogs 😅

1. Paddling pool in the garden
2. Hide and seek the treats
3. Freeze Kongs with some natural yogurt
4. If out and about for walks for those that suffer heat black dogs, cockapoo's, poodles, long haired dogs etc. - cooling vests help a bit!
5. Cooling mats or beds
6. Fans
7. Put ice in the water bowls (clean a few times a day)
8. Walks early morning and go to shady areas or water walks and even walk them late evening.

And the list goes on but if you are struggling to find things to do with your dog in this heat - i totally understand, you see them frustrated but there is not much we can do, rather than keep them safe ❤️

With the upcoming heat wave hitting our area this week, safety is our top priority for our furry friends. To keep your pups cool and healthy, please note that walks will be limited to early mornings only, from 8 AM to 10 AM at the latest.

Remember:
- Avoid walking during peak heat hours
- Provide plenty of fresh water
- Watch for signs of overheating such as excessive panting or lethargy
- Consider indoor activities to keep your dog active and entertained

Let’s stay safe and keep our dogs comfortable during this hot spell! ☀️🐾
