Hi everyone,

I have relocated to Bideford, Devon.

I will be offering dog walking and pet pop-ins as of right now. I will also be offering pet sitting, on a case by case basis. Please note that this will have to be arranged up to a month in advance to avoid disappointment, and so that I am able to work my schedule around you.

Dog walking will be on a 1-1 basis, although pets from the same home can be walked together. I will not be offering group walking sessions, but I can direct you to those that offer this if you are interested. I offer these 1-1 sessions as standard, due to the fact that many dogs require this kind of care due to anxiety, aggression or other issues of this nature. Walks will be on lead, unless I have full consent from the owner, and also full confidence in the pets recall. These walks will be charged at £10 for a half an hour walk (additional dogs will be £5 extra, per dog). An hour walk will be priced at £15, with the same conditions as above. Longer walks can be discussed, should they be required. I also offer short puppy walks, for those growing bones. These are priced at £12 for a half an hour walk (and any cleanup required!)

Pop-ins are ideal for young puppies, elderly dogs and more anxious dogs who cannot be left alone for long periods of time. These can either be for 30mins, or 1hour, and are priced at the same rate as the walks. In this I will pop into your home, let your pets out for the bathroom, clean up any accidents, feed or medicate as required and comfort any of those anxious pooches.

I am also offering a 'pet taxi' service. This service is ideal for taking your pet to the kennels if you are unable, the vets and the groomers. In the event that you are unable to pick up a pet from kennels due to unforeseen circumstances this is ideal! This service will be priced on an individual basis, dependent on distance, time taken to check in/check out the pet and also if I am required to stay with them after pick up or drop off. Please contact me to discuss this.

Please note that although there are standard prices, these may be increased in exceptional circumstances (such as incidents that require extra bathing time), however these will be discussed if required. Any other services such as wedding chaperoning etc can be discussed on a case by case basis.

I've been an extra busy bee recently! Sorry about the lack of activity here. To celebrate a quiet weekend I took my boy Stormy out for an extra long walk. The after picture is a perfect result I'd say! 😂

We have been getting into the Christmas spirit in my home. I've loved seeing all of your pets with their festive collar charms, and the lovely decorations from all of my lovely clients 🥰

A quick note to say that I will not be offering services for the wc 25th of December so that I can spend some time with my family (and walk my own crazy bunch of dogs). All owners who are affected by this will have an individual message also! 💞

Hope everypawdy is safe after the last week or so of those scary loud bangs! NOW is the time to put the prep work in for NYE (and next year)

What can you do?

Ask Alexa (or you can use your TV) to play firework sounds on super low volume, always reward calm behaviour. Nothing = good.

Create a safe place for your dog, crates work well but some dogs will chose their own safe place so make that place super comfy and reward them well for using it.

Use enrichment, dogs find sniffing, licking and chewing calming so give them safe things to exhibit this behaviour. Likimats, kongs, natural chews etc.

You cannot reinforce fear, if your dog is scared COMFORT THEM. There’s nothing more detrimental to your relationship with your dog than if they look to you for reassurance and you ignore them.

Dogs can take 72 hours PLUS to come down after a big event so if they’re acting off or seem sad then give them time. Those working with reactivity be wary that your dog could be trigger stacked so the slightest thing can tip them over the edge.

I recently got to pet sit Elton John and his kitty siblings. They were an absolute joy! Aren't they all the cutest! 💕

Elton's mum arranged walks prior to pet sitting, to ensure Elton felt totally at ease during the experience and it really showed!😍

He is two years old, chipped and neutered and extremely friendly. Please share, a reward will be given for his return ♥️

I got to do some more pop-ins with these little faces in preparation for regular visits soon! I have adored spending time with them. We have definitely become good friends in the last few days! We went for a lovely sunny walk, as well as having some garden time and they loved it, almost as much as I did 😂💞

Today I got to pop in to see some lovely Dachshund's. They were nervous at first, but I can tell we are going to be great friends! We even had some cuddles, and I didn't want to leave 🥺. Thank you for trusting me with your babies! 🥰
