The weather is at least dry today with a bit of sun but still very windy.

Frankie is a nervous dog who doesn’t enjoy being involved with doggy rough & tumble. So she’s staying nice & cosy indoors whilst these 3 run off some beans! 🐾🐕🐕🐾

Berry's Pet Services is two years old today! 🎉🥳🐾 Here are a few pics of some of our regulars.

We're now fully booked for dog walking, with:

🐾 17 dogs walked regularly each week plus several ad hoc dogs

Since launching our home from home boarding in January this year, we've boarded to date:

🐾 40 dogs
🐾 18 of those dogs have boarded with us multiple times so far this year
🐾 7 of those dogs are already booked in for next year
🐾 6 new dogs are boarding with us before the end of the year
🐾 Been fully booked from May - October (and July 2026 is already fully booked!)
🐾 Achieved a 5* rating on Google

We still also provide cat and other pet visits in Bwlchgwyn and immediate surrounding villages, and regularly visit across different clients:

🐾 15 cats
🐾 30 chickens
🐾 2 tortoises
🐾 5 parrots
🐾 A bearded dragon
🐾 2 rabbits
🐾 Fish
🐾 A budgie

When I quit corporate life after 15 years 2 years ago, I originally planned for Berry and Friends Natural Treats to become my full time business and only got dog walking insurance to do on the side, until I built a customer base.

It went the opposite way(!) and now the natural treats are on the side whilst I take care of lots of lovely pets for owners from all around North Wales and Cheshire as a now fully licensed home boarder 🥰

I love being surrounded by animals constantly though so I'm perfectly happy to spend my days walking, feeding, playing with and fussing pets....instead of packing up dead animal parts 🤣 (that being said, www.berryandfriends.co.uk has recently been fully restocked 😉)

Alfie is recovering from a leg injury so I’m entertaining him with toys to try and keep him relatively still!

Doug immediately made a beeline for the half leg deer shank, as that’s more his size to have a chew on. Roo just wanted cuddles 🐾🐶🐶🐶🐾

We have a mandatory meet & greet policy at Berry's Pet Services for new doggy clients, as we do have resident dogs so have to make sure everyone gets along.

Some dogs may not cope well with our usual meet & greet scenario if their parents are there, so we’re happy to accommodate trial afternoons (up to 4 hours) prior to a trial overnight or longer booking.

That’s what we did for George & Albee, as George can get a bit jealous of other dogs taking his Mam’s attention & she didn’t want that to negatively impact his experience.

We have a long and VERY steep drive here at Berry’s Pet Services HQ, so I collected the boys from the top of the drive so their mam could simply drive away & introduced them to my girls.

They were absolutely fine and immediately settled for sofa cuddles on a VERY miserable rainy day!

Hopefully for their stay next month we have some better weather for them to fully enjoy our outdoor space.

We’re happy to work with you to ensure your dog has the best possible experience with us 🥰

Meet & Greets are FREE of charge.

Up to 4 hours trial afternoon is a reduced rate of £15 for one dog, £20 for two or £25 for three and overnight trials are a reduced rate of £35 for one dog, £40 for two and £45 for three.

We will provide you with written updates during their trial as well as photos and/or videos.
