Berry’s Pet Services has been launched to assist people in North East Wales with their pet care needs. Owned by Sarah, who has 15 years’ experience walking, fostering (and adopting(!)) dogs of all breeds and sizes plus over 30 years’ experience caring for small furries including rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, degus, chinchillas and ferrets plus insects, reptiles and birds - Berry’s Pet Serv

We made good use of our Halloween pumpkins.

Our dogs enjoyed the puréed insides, our squirrels enjoyed the seeds and some of our client chickens are enjoying the rest! 🎃🐾🐕🐓🐾

Resident dog Crempog was recently spayed so can’t run around like she normally would with other resident dog Minka.

So I borrowed Buster & Beaver after their walk for a bit to let Minka have a good run around my garden with them while Crempog had kisses from Bess & Beau, who are on a half day with us 🐾🐈‍⬛🐕🐈‍⬛🐾

Sid & Tia have their own personal stream but in weather like this where the current is VERY fast and strong, dogs should be kept out of the water 🐾🐕🐕🐾

Miss Penny

Miss Penny is a nervous dog, afraid of strangers, other dogs, traffic - basically anything that makes a sound or sudden movements. So my walks with her always keep away from any of her stressors as much as possible. She’s getting much more confident now and stops to sniff a lot, rather than running in circles around my feet and trying to climb up my leg instead of walking 🥰 She has a solo weekly walk with me as well as a joint walk with her sister - Minnie is impatient though so there are less sniff stops! Berry - whom both my businesses are named after - had doggy dementia, was deaf and had failing sight. It’s very tough to manage, as similar to humans, the dog sometimes doesn’t know who you are and doesn’t understand you’re trying to help them. Boo here I only met yesterday. As circumstances change constantly, I was unable to spend further time with him, however I’m experienced with a multitude of dog breeds and medication provision, so regardless of your pets’ needs - Berry's Pet Services can help. Eventually, Boo was semi-happy for me to administer the meds, as he’s used to them and I allowed time for him to smell it 😊 *Boo is used to receiving these meds from his parents.* Deaf dogs can feel the vibrations when you speak, so it’s always reassuring for them, to speak. Complete silence is scarier for them - but NEVER touch a dog who can’t hear you! We’re experts at Berry’s Pet Services and provide your pets with the best possible care. We know that in these circumstances, growling, barking, lunging and snapping is completely normal and we do our best to reassure your dog they are safe 🥰🐾🦮🐶🐕🐾

Whilst Berry's Pet Services is mostly me, Sarah, my dear husband also helps out for our regulars when I’m otherwise engaged. Wonderful Willow needed a toilet break and run around this afternoon whilst her dog parents were away for a few hours and as she is dog friendly, the Berry’s Pet Services gang also got to join in
