Berry’s Pet Services has been launched to assist people in North East Wales with their pet care needs. Owned by Sarah, who has 15 years’ experience walking, fostering (and adopting(!)) dogs of all breeds and sizes plus over 30 years’ experience caring for small furries including rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, degus, chinchillas and ferrets plus insects, reptiles and birds - Berry’s Pet Serv

He’s quite anxious as he’s never been away from his family before so we’re making sure he has all the home from home comforts at Berry’s Pet Services HQ 🥰

We offer trial nights so both you and we can see how your dog does staying here before the commitment of being far away during a longer stay.

Welcome back to Berry’s Pet Services, Shadow!

We did some ad hoc walks with Shadow whilst his owners were on holiday last year and he’ll now join for a weekly walk.

We’ve been delighted with the incredible response to our home boarding service!

Lots of bookings for this year and beyond with some months now completely full. We’ve even had people move their holidays because we couldn’t accommodate their original dates! 🥰

Current availability is:

March: w/c March 24 only - solo dog may be possible on other dates
April: w/c April 1, 7, 21, 28 (Easter weekend booked Friday - Monday)
May: FULL
June: w/c June 23 only - solo dog may be possible on other dates
July: FULL
August: FULL
September: w/c Sept 1 only
October: Fully available
November: Fully available
December: Dec 23 - 28 already booked

Nope we absolutely do not at Berry’s Pet Services!

Your dog(s) will live in the house with us and our resident dogs (which is why we will not accept a booking without an onsite meet & greet!) and can bed down wherever they please….even if that is either side of my leg 🤣

We know it can be strange, scary and very different for your dog to be away from their family and home, so we try to make sure all dogs boarding with us have a home from home experience with us 🐾🐕🐾

Berry’s Pet Services latest boarders are existing clients, River & Leo (excuse Leo’s absolutely desperate for a treat face 🤣).

River & Leo hadn’t already met resident dogs Minka & Crempog, so they came for a meet & greet a few weeks ago (and all went well!) as their parents preferred them to board with someone they already knew and no kennels.

River & Leo aren’t allowed upstairs at home but as our house is a bit upside down, and the living room is on the top floor, their parents have made an exception 🤣

Started the day with Sid & Tia, then to newbies Oscar & Atlas, collected Bess & Beau and walked them with Daisy & Lucy, then it was Buster & Beaver’s turn, followed by collecting Busby puppy for a few hours dog sitting and finishing the day with Minnie & Penny! 🐾🦮🐕‍🦺🐶🐩🐕🐾

As typical labs, these boys need some energy burning off on days their parents are working.

We have very limited availability for regular walks now and can only accommodate in Bwlchgwyn or the immediate surrounding villages (Llandegla, Coedpoeth, Minera, Ffrith & Brymbo). We have no availability for every Monday - Friday walks 🐾🐕‍🦺🦮🐾

Sid & Tia have their own personal stream but in weather like this where the current is VERY fast and strong, dogs should be kept out of the water 🐾🐕🐕🐾

Miss Penny
Miss Penny

Miss Penny is a nervous dog, afraid of strangers, other dogs, traffic - basically anything that makes a sound or sudden movements. So my walks with her always keep away from any of her stressors as much as possible. She’s getting much more confident now and stops to sniff a lot, rather than running in circles around my feet and trying to climb up my leg instead of walking 🥰 She has a solo weekly walk with me as well as a joint walk with her sister - Minnie is impatient though so there are less sniff stops!
