We wanted to share another update about our dog day care, and we want to thank everyone who participated in guessing our sneak peak!

🎉 You Guessed It! 🎉
For those who guessed a groomers—you were spot on! We’re delighted to announce that Emily’s dog grooming will be joining us a couple of days a week. This means you can now tick two things off your list at once by dropping your dog off for day care and booking them a grooming slot during the day. Talk about convenience!

💡 For Those Who Guessed Scent Room…
Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered too! We’ll be incorporating a scent room into one of our play areas. This dedicated space will allow dogs to enjoy enriching sniffing activities, which are fantastic for their mental stimulation and overall happiness.

🏞️ Introducing Our Indoor Dog Park
We’re transforming our play areas into an indoor dog park—bringing all the benefits of outdoor play inside!
• Lifelike Environment: Featuring artificial grass, trees, and even indoor toilet stations for your dogs to use comfortably.
• Rotating Play Areas: Dogs will enjoy a mix of activities throughout the day, keeping them engaged and entertained.

🐾 Specialised Play Areas:
1. Enrichment Zone: A dedicated area for mentally stimulating games like:
• Puzzle feeders and treat-dispensing toys.
• Scent games like “find the hidden treat.”
• Obstacle courses to encourage problem-solving and agility.
2. Active Play Zone: For free play, socialisation, and fun!
3. Nap Room: Each dog will have their own individual small room for downtime, ensuring they can relax and recharge during the day.

📅 Opening Date
We’re aiming to be open in February, but as with any building project, there can be challenges along the way. While this date isn’t set in stone, we’re working hard to get everything ready for you and your dogs as soon as possible! As you can see the area is massive! 100ft x 45ft so much space for your fur babies to enjoy🩷

We’re committed to creating a day care that combines fun, comfort, and enrichment for your furry family members. Stay tuned for more updates! This also means there will be job opportunities too, so keep your eyes peeled for those!🐾

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all our wonderful clients! The love you have shown us has been unmatched and we will be forever grateful of you and your fur babies.

This year has definitely been a rollercoaster of emotions, and building the day care, well that’s another story🤣 but we are getting there! Like a lovely client (who is basically family now!) said to me yesterday, look how far we have come from where we started, and without all of you, we would never have gotten this far!🩷

So for that, have a drink, a mince pie, or an extra pig in blanket (one for you and one for each fur baby) for us, to say thank you for you continued love and support! Have the best holiday season with you loved ones, and we will see you in the New Year

As December approaches (can you believe it?!)☃️🌲, we wanted to let you know a couple of things to make sure we’re all set for a smooth and busy month ahead:

• Our diary will be closed on 26th November, so please make sure to get your December bookings in before then.
• All December bookings will need to be paid in full by 1st December to secure your spot.

This helps us stay organised during the busy season and ensures we can give everyone the best service possible.

🎆 Bonfire Night Tips 🎆

With Bonfire Night around the corner, it’s important to keep our furry friends safe and calm during the fireworks! Here are some top tips to help your dog feel more comfortable on the night:

1️⃣ Create a Safe Space – Set up a cozy, quiet area where your dog can retreat if they feel scared. You can use blankets, toys, and familiar scents to make it comforting.

2️⃣ Walk Before Dark – Try to give your dog a good walk before the fireworks start to avoid them being outside when the noise begins.

3️⃣ Keep Windows and Curtains Closed – This helps reduce the noise and bright flashes. Playing soft music or turning on the TV can also mask the sound.

4️⃣ Stay Calm – Dogs pick up on our emotions, so try to remain relaxed and upbeat. Reassure them with gentle strokes, but avoid over-coddling, which can reinforce fear.

5️⃣ Distractions Help – Provide puzzle toys or long-lasting chews to keep their mind occupied during the fireworks.

6️⃣ ID Tags and Microchips – In case your dog does get spooked and tries to escape, make sure their ID tags and microchip details are up to date.

Remember, Bonfire Night can be stressful for dogs, but with a few preparations, you can make it easier for them to stay calm and safe. 🐾❤️

🐾DOGGY DAY CARE UPDATE🐾

As promised we told you we would bring you along on this journey of building our doggy day care. Granted it is taking a lot longer than we expected but we are making progress slowly 🩵

We have attached some visual designs of the reception and groomers, these are the first 3 pictures, which are the end goal, and the visuals for the rest of the day care are still underway as we want this to be perfect for you and your furry friends! (Rome wasn't built in a day! 😋)

We have also attached some pictures of the barn so you can see the progress we have made already, and the rooms/dividing walls are getting fitted mid October 😆

We also have two new play paddocks being built outside so lots of work currently underway (as well as running our boarding!!)
