We’ve been so slack with posting photos of our adventures 😮 here are the last three adventures we’ve had with new adventurer, Bonnie! She’s been all over the place but especially loved our Norwich trip as she really loved the pupperchino!

Yesterdays adventure was predicted rain, so we decided to go back to St. Helens picnic in Santon Downham as I knew we could stay covered by trees if needed!
Lilo and Ivy met so many animals today from horses to highland cows to swans too (which I used for training focus work with haha!) it was a lovely trip and the weather even held up! 🤗 Lilo finished the adventure with a walk in was at our salon

We had a nice walk around Conley and bowthorpe marshes this morning, with Lilo and ivy 🐾

They got to meet some ponies and lots of dogs today and we had to tackle a lot of flooded areas but glad the sun came out for a little bit!

Posting last weeks adventure with the lovely Chester and Lilo! These two were so cute together but totally different ideas of fun - Lilo avoided all water at all costs and Chester spend the whole time swimming! It was a lovely walk around santon downham woodland and along the river 🐾

Yesterdays adventure took Lilo and Ivy to Thomson on the Pingo Trail - it was a muddy one so Lilo finished her adventure with a walk in wash treatment in the salon 🐾 🛁
They saw lots of squirrels and birds and walked past a scary pig farm (they were really noisy!)

Todays adventure brought us on a history trip! We went to Caistor Roman Town followed by a nature walk around High Ash Farm. Chester had a great time, he’s such a water baby and spent a lot of time trying to rescue the pebbles out of the rivers 😆 he was very good around the horses too!

We are back!!

Yesterday, we had our first adventure since November (December was too busy in the salon to run the adventures!)

We were joined by Bailey and Ivy and we went to High Lodge in Thetford Forest. The weather held up well and we managed to do a whole 10K 😱 the girls will sleep well for the next week I should think!

While we have a new trainee starting in the salon, we will be running our adventures on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the moment - so give us a call or message to ask for more information or to book!

Lovely adventure on Friday!

We were joined by ivy and Luna on our adventure to Holkham hall - it was a muddy one but luckily the rain stayed away!

We saw lots of deer and ducks, ivy spent the whole time trying to climb into the lake which Luna spent the whole time walking through every puddle she could find!

Yesterday’s adventure was very labby! We had Bailey joined by Charlie for an adventure to whitlingham country park and through the woodland. The weather held up ok but it was very foggy!
The pups got to watch the boats and kayakers go by, they saw some trains and got up close with some geese and ducks! They weren’t remotely interested in the ducks though. We also worked on some relaxing too as Charlie being quite young has to be taught that when it’s time to rest, is not the time to try and play. Bailey was happy to chill at every opportunity!
We also worked on distractions with lots of dog walkers and joggers going past too! Always learning 🙌🏻
Tomorrow’s adventure will be a rainy one 🌧

Our adventure yesterday brought us to Holt Country Park! I haven’t been before but it was lovely!!

Bailey and ivy had a great time and it was funny to see Bailey dragging me to every muddy puddle going, while ivy took the long way round to stay out the dirt! (She’s a groomers dog for sure 😂)

There’s loads of walks to choose from with different length routes, a little cafe there that was sadly shut and it looks like they have events there too. Very pretty!!

Bailey finished her day off with a bath at the salon as well, so a very busy day for her!

Had a lovely adventure with Ollie today! I left ivy at home as she’s had quite a busy week so it was just me and Ollie.
We started the day off at Ringland Hills for a nice stroll around the woodland - there were many squirrels and pheasants! And lots of hills, which Ollie didn’t help pull me up once! then we went of to spend the morning at Taverham mill nature reserve. It opens at 10am and has the loveliest walk around a lake and some rivers and plenty of wildlife! We also got to see some highland cows and stopped at the dog friendly cafe for a hot chocolate and some complimentary dog treats too!

Our adventure day today brought us to bowthorpe marshes. We had Bailey and ivy today who had the best time seeing cows and horses. They got to have a little paddle as well!

We had a great day for our dog adventure day today - although very wet and muddy!!
Our first three dog group today consisted of ivy the collie, Charlie the lab and bear the Cockerpoo. They were a fun bunch to have today when we went to St Benets Abbey, to have a look at the boats, the broads and the abbey as well! Charlie finished with a bath and tidy at the salon and was practically falling asleep on the table!

Update for our dog adventure days!

We have decided instead of only doing one set day a week, we are now allowing customers to book any day of the week! Great for people who do shift work or need the house free for plumbers or home improvements! Or for dogs who just need a little more socialising to the world!

Collections and drop offs available if booked in advance but for first time adventurers, we do ask to be dropped off first time for our dog friendliness test!

Today’s adventure was different! We learnt that the dinosaur in the cathedral wasn’t going to be around for long so we changed the adventure to go to Norwich today!

It was just ivy this week but she had the best day, we went on the train to Norwich and started in Starbucks for a pupperchino. Then off to Hobbycraft to have a good sniff about and some shop training! She loved that shop!

From there we did some heel training and sitting at crossings and off to John Lewis. The noise of the escalator was scary but other than that, it was really fun!
Then off to the cathedral gardens for a rest and sit on the grass before heading in to go meet Dippy the Dinosaur! I love how dog friendly Norwich is and it’s a perfect city to practice dog training in as there are quiet and busy areas!

For the next two weeks, we won’t be running dog adventure days as I’m off on holiday, so our next adventure is Thursday 14th October. To book in, or to find more information. Please call or text the salon on 07565 491248 or send us a message!

Another lovely Dog Adventure Day completed!
Ivy and I were joined by little pupper - Charlie, for his first adventure!
As Charlie is quite young, we went to the Pingo Trail in Thompson for a nice walk around the nature reserve but we didn’t do the whole loop (8 miles would be way too far for a puppy!) so we just went round a little and then back again.
The pups met lots of squirrels and even some highland cattle (safely behind a fence) and both got very muddy. It didn’t help that Ivy stood behind Charlie every time he decided to dig a hole! 😆 champion digger in the making for sure!!
We were lucky to not bump into anyone on this walk really, so it was like having the forest to ourselves!
Our next dog adventure day is on Wednesday 22nd September and more details will follow closer the time 🐾

Better late than never!! Here are some photos from our last dog adventure day - Ivy was joined by the cutest Lurcher called Ollie, and we went to Wells beach!
This is one of my favourite beaches to go as it’s so dog friendly and has a great forest area when it starts getting a little too hot!
Ollie had a great time and his owner was sure he wouldn’t get into the water as he’s not so sure on it, but after watching Ivy jump right in (she’s a water baby after all!) he joined right in! Very funny to watch him frolic in the water and kept leaping over ivy - like a deer/dog/dolphin hybrid! I’m glad he had such a great time 🥰

Today’s dog adventure day was great fun! We went to Santon Downham where we went for a lovely forest walk, saw some horse riders, trains, squirrels and then went swimming in the river, watching a family of kayakers!
Both Lady and Ivy are definitely going to need some sleep this afternoon as they’ve had the best day! Lady loves exploring all the smells and a good muddy walk and ivy is such a water baby, so this was definitely her kind of walk!

Our next dog adventure day is 8th September and involves:

Our Adventure today brought us to High Lodge in Thetford Forest! We had Stella the Golden and Ivy the border collie for the adventure and they were both so well behaved! (As ivy is my dog, I think she felt she had to be on her best behaviour!)

Next week we won’t have a dog adventure due to having our first wedding chaperone booked, so our next adventure is:

So today’s Dog Adventure Day was fun! Sadly our first customer failed the dog friendliness test so we did have to send her away but as we already booked our table at , I thought Ivy will still enjoy the day trip! She had a ice cream while I tucked into a nice panini, then a walk along the beach after 🤗

Our next trip is on Wednesday 18th and we have 2 spaces for small dogs and the adventure will be forest themed 🌲

So our doggy adventures have been a little up in the air over the last week. Sam had to take a few days off sick (don’t worry! She was negative!) so we weren’t able to do our first dog adventure day as planned and we weren’t able to do this weeks Wednesday as planned due to having a few pick ups for the salon. So…our first one is now tomorrow!

Welcome everyone!

We thought it would be easier to make a separate page for our dog adventure days, so everyone can see the exciting new places we will be going to soon. The plan is to start on Wednesdays until we start getting busier! We won’t share the places we go to until after the visit to keep the staff and dogs safe, but we will let the owners know on drop off of their dogs 🐕

Our first adventure day planned is:

Wednesday 4th August!
8am-9am - collection at centre paws pet spa
1pm-2pm - drop off at centre paws pet spa
