Safe as Hounds I am an Ex Biomedical scientist, I worked in Microbiology for 15 years so im used to running analysers and looking at cells.

I show and occasionally breed to keep for show Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and have gained much knowledge in whelping and fertility issues. I now offer Progesterone and Cytology testing as well as pregnancy scanning and Microchipping.

PLEASE NOTE REGARDING PROGESTERONE TESTING - It is very important that you use a vet to draw blood from your bitch for the purpose of progesterone testing. There are numerous fertility clinics around the Country, they offer a range of breeding services, they look professional and breeders believe it is all legal and they are suitably trained. Unfortunately they are not qualified to draw blood from your bitch for the purpose of progesterone testing, even if they get you to sign a disclaimer and tell you they are trained. A registered veterinary nurse is not insured to draw blood from any animal without a vet on the premises neither is a trained human Phlebotomist. So whatever they tell you, and whatever disclaimer they get you to sign, they are not allowed to put a needle into your dog and draw blood unless they have MRCVS after their name.

We keep getting asked time and time again about blood draws, ONLY a vet can draw blood....so yes you have to go to a vet to get a blood sample and then bring bloods to us.

IF anyone is drawing blood themselves then they are braking the law....its that simple!!!

Had the privilege of microchipping this lovely litter of Golden retrievers 😍 momma was scanned here a few weeks back so nice to see them all getting ready to leave for new homes, a real credit to their breeder 👏 quality pups from health tested parents and good lines, the new owners are very lucky 😁

There appears to be counterfeit test kids being sold in the UK for the wondfo analyser by finecare, below are two kits, the one on the right is counterfeit. This has been giving very strange results and we identified this earlier in the year.

We now only purchase progesterone testing kits for our wondfo machine from PUM they are the only legit company who buy direct from wondfo, any other distributors will be counterfeit. We also upgraded our machine to the latest model so please be rest assured that our results will be accurate when progesterone testing your b@tch

Accuracy is very important to us and I hope you will continue to use us for your breeding plans in the future

Our Story

I can offer dog grooming, microchipping and canine ultrasound scanning from home. Would be willing to come to you for microchipping and scanning, prices on application.

Experienced dog groomer of 5 years, small to medium size dogs welcome.

VIS Level 1 and 2 Ultrasonography trained. Planning a litter or not sure if your bitch has fallen? Ultrasound scanning is a good way of confirming a whelp or phantom, approx. numbers can be given (not guaranteed) and I can check for PYO and any other abnormality within the scope of my training (I am not a vet so if you suspect an infection a vet should be consulted ), I can give an estimated due date for bi***es confirmed in whelp.
