We had the wonderful Ghosty in with us yesterday so I felt only right we gave her a Halloween background. These will be available in October on every groom.

We have the majestic Bronny in last night. He was such a well behaved boy and we can't wait to have him back in the salon.

Today we had a first in the salon. The lovely moonbeam came for a visit. She is such a lovely cat and so well behaved. We are now taking request for cat grooming.

As the weather is going to be up near the 30 degree weather it is possible that we may not be able to dry your pup fully or at all depending on how they are coping in the heat.

We do have air conditioning and reflective film on all the windows which will help.

Anyone who is concerned or wishes to move appointments to a cooler time please let me know

Yesterday we had a very unusual breed in called a Dutch Smoushond called Ted. He did amazingly well for his first handstrip groom and we can’t wait to see him soon

Hello everyone! I want to let you all know that I will be giving back. I’ve always wanted to help dogs who are in desperate need and now you’ve all been so supportive in my business I’d love to help. I will be doing emergency grooms for dogs who need urgency care with Paws 4 thought. Please remember to not walk your dogs to the salon in the heat.

I try my best to keep the salon as cool as possible with the air conditioning but I will still be vigilant with drying dogs in high temp.

Any concerns about up coming grooms please let me know.

My boy looking good after his groom at Bubbles and Baloo Grooming.
I’ve never had Levi professionally groomed before because I’m a control freak and don’t want to leave my boy with a stranger! These big dogs can be easily heat stressed by too warm water or blow dryers, or suffer muscle strain from too long holding their big bodies up on the grooming table, but I totally trust Hayley to put welfare first. She did most of his groom on the floor where he stretched out on his side and dozed off, for his comfort and to the detriment of her back!
I groom Levi daily, but I’ve never managed to get his coat as smooth myself. Thank you Hayley! 💖

I just wanted to thank all my customers who turned up to the open afternoon today. The video and photos will follow. I also want to say a special thank you to Soldex Aqua Solutions for the work on the grooming studio and Busy Bee Bakes & Cupcakes for the cupcakes for the event and also Lavender Paws Dog Training and Colin Taylor for being at the opening. Also thanks to my friends Juliette Cook who came up to help.
