As well as looking after friends' dogs, we have also been in households with dogs for many years. We love dog sitting in our home as they are like our grandchildren. We get to have lots of fun and spoil them rotten but can hand them back at the end of their stay (usually with tears from Kirsty though it does have to be said). The way we see it is that it is their holiday, so do everything to make
their stay as enjoyable and fun as possible. As well as daily updates and pics, owners also receive a message or two written by their dog!! Honestly, these dogs can be very clever with a phone. It's fair to say they get a pretty special time. As we have no pets in our home, Dicko's Doggy Digs offers a one to one, personal dog sitting service for your beloved doggy. We only ever take one dog at a time. We have a two-year City of York Council licence and are fully insured. I hold a Pet First Aid Certificate and the Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Diploma. I also have a current DBS check. Our prices are £50 per night, with possible additional cost dependent upon pick up time on the last day of stay. Not the cheapest but they have a pretty special time!
