I just found these pictures of over a year ago... Thalia, almost dying.

On the xray pictures you can see the bullets in her body, the little dots. This dog suffered abuse for many years inflicted by the hands of man and against all odds she survived and is the funny, witty, beautiful girl today.

If strength had an example then Thalia is definitely it. What a hero.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to her fight back, from vets to sponsors to drivers to everything.

Peppa will soon go to the vet to get a test and then her first vaccination.

As we do this by bike now and crates are a bit unsafe on the bike, I today accidentally found this bag for only 15€ to transport her safely.

I will wear it on my front.

If anyone likes to sponsor towards her test and vaccination, the price will be for 3 vaccinations and a test (to make sure she really has no parvo or giardia etc before vaccination) will be around 80€.

Here we have Diva.

Last night I fell asleep, exhausted of the last couple of weeks with the puppies, with my clothes on, on the sort of couch, no blanket, nothing.

I woke up, extremely cold, I had not eaten, had been crying a lot, again, pure exhaustion.

I let out a sound of shiver and immediately she came, Diva, like a blanket, covering my upper body, followed by Jimmy, covering my down body.

At that moment I felt like the most blessed person in the world, I warmed up immediately and fell in a deep sleep, waking up much later to eventually get the blanket as I needed to turn, my arm started hurting.

That was pure happiness. I needed that. Beautiful.....

But hey, they are just dogs, they don't understand....
