These girls and their brothers and sisters have reached puberty and don't remember their names or manners anymore....

We don't listen and think we can do as we please. Luckily they have a pretty strict mama that puts them into place when and if needed!

Ivy (left) and Kiki are up for adoption. Don't you just melt looking into their eyes?? They are really good girls and deserve their furever home like any other dog. Because a shelter is more safe than the streets, yet not a proper life for a dog.

Hello my Doggie Besties!!

Isla wishes you all a good afternoon! We know in some countries it is not afternoon yet, but it is coming, so we already wish you a good one.

Her snout gets white as snow and her movements a bit slower, nevertheless she is still a puppy at heart and playing all the time with her bestie Saartje.

Good evening my Doggie Besties!!

Here we have another smiling girl, our golden olden lady, Reza!

I have been in love with Reza her eyes forever and this girl is such a soft sweet lady, a true girl to my heart.

She is a gentle soul who loves just to be talked to and made a fuss off. She is kind to all other dogs she meets, even if they are not so kind to her. I think she must be around 12 years old now.

There are quiet a few oldies at Furever Happy Village. To keep them healthy in their golden years, it is better for them to have better quality food.

My dear Doggie Besties,

Dear Doggie Besties!

Thank you all for.your kind words and understanding that I needed some time.

After the whole other doomed land debacle, I did not take a moment to rest.

I started working about 10 days after I arrived here, got more puppies dumped who were all sick, which made me run more. And ofcourse the man and dogs down the road....

Hardly any sleep, no food, no 'me' time, no rest and then boom, Momo who most likely suffered from heart failure, which resulted in my breakdown.

I fell in and out of sleep for a couple of days, i could barely walk and i was blind in my left eye for about two days.

I was in an alarming state and that made me decide together with doctors advice to take it a bit easier because also the dogs don't gain anything with me not functioning.

This means i took some time off work for now. If i feel im ok again i will maybe return but only on busy days, so i have more time.

The last couple of days I've been spending with rhe dogs and taking time to eat properly, drink properly, add vitamins to my diet and rest, to regain strength.

It was too much.

Updates on my shelter life:

*All the equipment for the solar system has arrived so we can start fixing it. Ingmar who will install it is building a sort of case for the battery and converter.

*If been looking into tablets and found an economic and good one to make uploading and streaming the dogs easier. This is important as i want to focus on adoption. The tablet costs 250€ and has a keyboard as well so it makes my life easier and hopefully adoption will be easier.

*The old fundraiser that Diane had set up is going to close, ill.set up a new one.

*I've made a wish list through Throne, this is linked to Amazon where people can buy and send me things on the wishlist for making the dogs' lives better. I will provide the link later, please share as much as possible. The more people see it, the more things i might receive for them. More things will be added to the wish list.

That is it for now, with resting i can also focus more on things needed for the shelter and make it good, better, best, bestestest sooner, for a happier life for the dogs.

Hello everyone.

You might wonder why I didn't post anything yesterday.

It's hard for me to even write down.

When I came home after work the day before yesterday, I found Momo passed away.

At first I thought they had been fighting, but there were no wounds, nor on him nor on any other dogs.

There was just some blood out of his mouth which most likely indicates heart failure.

He was his own happy self all day, ate, did his Momo things, no indication something was wrong with him.

I completely lost it, screamed, howled like a wolf and collapsed. It is too much to comprehend.

I fell in and out of sleep constantly, had black outs, at a certain point my legs couldn't carry me anymore, I didn't eat, drink etc and still I don't.

My body and mind are shutting down.

Therefore I've chosen to take little break. I stopped working for a couple of days to see if I can regain strength, body and mind wise because everything, from the other land to the sick puppies to the loss of Momo has been too much for me to carry.

I won't be on social media so much for a couple of days, for peace of mind.

Momo is greatly missed because he really was one of a kind. I really adored that dog. No more Momo dances, it really, really hurts.

I love you forever pretty big boy...

I can't, I really can't.....

Hello my Doggie Besties!

One of our routines is grooming once a week!

This is spread over three days as at some point it gets too hot in the day.

We clean ears, comb fur and rub organic coconut oil on the bodies.

This ball of fur is the result of brushing 6 dogs. So as you can see it's a necessary thing to do.

Not only for the heat, but also for skin health. If the hair stays on the body when it has already fallen out, the skin can breathe less.

I can make another dog out of it.

If I knew how, I'd make wool out of it and knot scarfs for winter... 😂

A good morning my Doggie Besties, from Hectoras and Capone!!

Two golden oldie brothers that are about 12 years old now.

Good day my Doggie Besties,

Here we have Boufos. One of the male dogs of the strays that kind of live with the old man. LL
The two girls have given birth.

I called the man concerning another matter and he had announced the girls were giving birth.

I went there as he said that the black girl had one puppy and didnt look after it.

I saw a cat running to the fence and immediately I heard puppy cries. There was a puppy completely soaked with water.

A couple of days ago the man had told me if the girls would give birth, he would drown the puppies .

One and one is two as this puppy was not even near one of the new mothers.

I'm sitting here under a tree on another piece of land because crying my heart out and I don't want my dogs to notice my emotions.

So I went to look for another puppy as he had pointed out that the black one had brought a puppy in the old chicken coup and didn't want it.

I scooped that one up as well and searched for the hiding spot of the white girl which I found.

She took both puppies, whether they were hers or not.

All the time I was in my rescue mission, beautiful Boufos was barking and snapping at me, protecting his flock, as a good boy does.

I kept my cool and told him he was a good boy.

I told him, I promised him that I would take him and his brother and sisters out of this s**t hole.

THE PUPPIES ARE NOT SAFE HERE!

I need to find a solution asap.

The black girl decided to give birth on his patio and I saw blood, yet no puppies, so I can think of what happened but I'm trying not to go there because I simply can't, I can't.

My immediate thoughts were to scream at him, take his oxygen out and destroy the place but there are more lives on stake here.

So...

Can we make Boufos and his siblings famous so we can get them out of there no matter what.

I need help with this and I'm willing to quit my job to make this my mission but I can't do this alone.

This time I'm not asking for help, I'm begging.

Please help me save those lives.

Good morning my Doggie Besties!!!

We went to Lidl and managed to get 51 bags of food as there were not more at the time.

No worries though, that means money for 44 bags will be set aside for the next offer . As we had a total for 95 bags.

We had a good workout!!

Ofcourse Princess Diva had to do a little round of inspection if everything was ok.

She approved!! Lucky us!!

I'm going to put the bags in place in a bit, first some food for me and then doggie cleaning time!!

My dear Doggie Besties!!

I had a little afternoon rest with little Jimmy curling up to me.

Good morning my Doggie Besties!!

I woke up more than very early today. The last couple of weeks I was feeling constantly extremely tired, so I woke up later, and the reason was...... drum roll 🥁🥁🥁

COVID.

I have had it three times now and this last one was undeniably the worst, yet I've survived it again and I'm.as good as recovered.

As I sat, thinking about the fact that tomorrow at this time I'm carrying bags of food on the field, I noticed a cute moment between Diva and Pixie.

And then they ran off together like they were long lost friends, up to some mischief.... As Diva is the perfect teacher for that...

The result is this more than cute picture with two happy bums and tails which seem to go in the same direction .

The difference in size though 😍😂
