Zooula is getting ready for surgery on her leg. Her doctor, Mr. Ifantis, told us that we should slowly take her to Lefkada to undergo surgery. It would be simple for another animal to be amputated, but we cannot do this to Zooula. From her constant confinement in a cage with slippery plates, without any exercise, her hind limbs have also been damaged. In their current state, they would not be able to support the torso of a large animal. So we have an extremely difficult and demanding operation ahead of us which, due to the prosthetic materials, will have a total cost of two thousand euros 👉€2000 is a huge amount for an association like ours. Η Ζωή από το Δημοτικό καταφύγιο Ιωαννίνων σήμερα υποβλήθηκε σε αξονική τομογραφία για το πόδι της ώστε να το σώσουμε. She longs for a human caress and her whole little animality has been placed with innocence in their hands She was collected by the Municipality as a baby and unfortunately perhaps some malabsorption of nutrients, perhaps a congenital weakness of the ligaments caused one of her legs to have a slight turn outwards which despite all the efforts made by the Ioannina Shelter and the contracted doctors, the condition of her leg is now very bad and if we do not intervene surgically it is certain that the damage to her leg will be irreversible. So we decided together with Ms. Matina Tsaveli to try to do the best possible for the little one. Monday she has an appointment for a CT scan and then with the help of the doctor Mr. Ifantis, exactly what is needed will be done for the little one to have a normal life. The cost of the CT scan is 400€. And then we will see exactly what will be needed. We are all volunteers. We are not subsidized from anywhere and anyone who wants to help in principle with the costs of the CT scan will be given the bill of the Ygeiavet medical center.
