Chilli and Pepper have finally arrived in Amsterdam and been collected by their parents. They are on the way to their new home where their best life begins!

Here's some timely advice from another cat rescue.... Charli and I are not in a position to take on any more cats, so whatever folks in the community can do will help our feline friends.
This being said, I want to acknowledge the fantastic efforts so many people on Lefkada make to care for cats in need. It is truly an amazing community effort.

Well after 2 days trekking through Greece and Europe , Chilli and Pepper are nearly home! Can't wait for their parents to pick them up 😀

Little George is so much better since his vet visit a couple of days back. He's full of beans and very playful. My fingers are crossed that he will be well enough to be vaccinated at the end of next week.

Well Chilli and Pepper have been on the road nearly a day now and this is where they are this minute. It's a long trip for them but tomorrow they will start their new life in Amsterdam and that's worth it!

Recently I posted about Bubble and Squeak, two lovely siblings that I had as wee kittens in 2022.
They were lucky enough to be adopted locally by a wonderful couple, Alice and Pete.
They were so very tiny when they went home with them, but they sure have grown and flourished as these pictures of them 2 years later show.
They are so loved and doted on and are having a wonderful life. The last photo is to remind you just how tiny they were!

Rakker is doing very well in his forever home here a couple of villages away. Life doesn't get much better than enjoying a cuddle in the winter sunshine with your mum.

Cat lady's got new slippers!
It was my birthday on the 7th but it was a miserable day in the early throes of Covid so not much celebrating and certainly no visitors.
Today my lovely friend Victoria dropped in with a lovely hand made card she made me and these very apt slippers. These will keep this cat lady's feet warm as we head into mid winter!

George went to the vet yesterday. I was so hoping he could start his vaccinations, but alas, he needed an injection for ringworm as well as another antibiotic injection as he is still wheezing. It's only mild, but the vet felt it important to try and get on top of his respiratory tract symptoms as much as we can. This is now his 3rd antibiotic injection since he came to me; he's had oral antibiotics as well.
He also had his ear canals washed out as there was mite dirt. The last time he went to the vet, he'd had an injection for mites, and he's much improved since then. This last week, he's had conjunctivitis in his right eye, so I've been bathing it with camomile and using antibiotic eye drops, and it's a lot better.
Hopefully, he will be well enough to have his rabies shot next time so he can be on his way to the Netherlands in January.
Despite the health issues, he's really very content, energetic, playful, and cuddly, oh and he loves his food!
