Kowloon Cat Hospital is a Feline exclusive vet clinic that provides quality veterinary care to your dearest feline family members. The clinic is "Cats Only", without the noise and smell of other animals so that your cat can relax in a more comfortable enivironment when they need to pay a visit to the vet, either for annual health checks or when not feeling well.

Dear clients,

Due to Typhoon Toraji edging closer to us and T8 signal will be issued at around 11pm on 13/11/2024 (Weds) and may be hoisted until at least 10am 14/11/2024 (Thursday). We will be closed until the Typhoon signal is lowered and we resume service as quickly as we can afterwards. We will keep you posted.

🐾貓咪頻繁飲水係發生咩事？🐾

相信好多主人都知道貓咪平時唔鍾意飲水，但係如果佢地突然大量飲水💢，特別係年老既貓咪，主人就應盡快預約獸醫，查詢貓咪有冇腎臟問題🔔

腎臟對貓咪非常重要! 佢係貓咪身體既清道夫，幫貓咪清除毒素廢物、維持血壓以及製造新紅血球所需荷爾蒙。隨住貓咪年紀變大或飲水不足、情緒壓力大，腎臟負擔加重，毒素積累就會引起腎病。

腎病大致上可分為兩種:
⭕ 急性腎衰竭是突發的，通常由感染或吸入危險物質引起。根據原因，這種情況可能可以逆轉的或永久性的。

⭕慢性腎衰竭是逐漸發展的，可能需要數月甚至數年。原因有很多，可以係因為感染或腫瘤，而當診斷出來時，損傷可能已經無法逆轉。

所以各位鏟屎官要保持警覺，如果🏠屋企貓咪生活環境、飲食冇改變既情況下，突然飲多左水💦去多左廁所、胃口改變🥣、腹瀉🤒或行為模式改變，請立即諮詢我們！

Due to Typhoon Yagi edging closer to us and T8 signal will be issued later this afternoon. We will be closed from 3pm on 5/9/2024 (Thurs) onwards until time where T8 signal will be lowered. Our services may remain affected on 6/9/2024 (Friday) also. We will keep you posted.
